Today is the 20th anniversary of the first commercial sale of Boulevard Beer (a keg to Ponak's). I've got some Blvd Pilsner in the fridge, but I think a 6pack of Singlewide and/or Blvd Dry Stout is in my future.
Thanks for 20 years of good beer here in KC, folks! |
:toast: Cheers boulevard! Thanks for making me happy when everyone and everything else fails!
|
2 Sparks (the engergy/booze drink, not the MILFS found here) and a 12'er of the Natty...

I mean, Sparks? Really? |
I treat my body like a temple, you treat your's like a tent.

I was in chicago 2 weeks ago and googled the "hottest new coctails" to drink while up there. Found one called the Emelio. It was listed on 2 or three sites.
Not a single freakin bartender knew what it was. |

It's amazing how much $#it those things hold until one day the bottom drops out... |
Red Rock Ginger Ale, which contains Pepper extract, it's bottled here in Atlanta.

It's been a while since I've had a Red Hook. The extra special bitter looks phenomenal. Here's a cool link on the ESB, that also has reviews on pretty much everything you can think of. Link... http://beeradvocate.com/articles/719 |
Shiraz (a red wine for those who don't know)

1 New Belgium Sunset Wheat 1 Blue Moon HoneyMoon 2 Killian's Irish Red Hmmm...Anyone else seeing a pattern (minus the two Killians)? I'm anxious to try the Harvest Dance. It's one of Boulevard's Smokestack Series. It's wheat wine style ale, and it's 9.1% alcohol. |

Samuel Adams.
It's a beer, for those who don't know. :) |

The tripel and 6th glass, I believe it was called will knock you on your ass if you aren't careful. Happy drinking and Happy Thanksgiving. |

Iced tea
Unfortunately, it's not the best pitcher I've made, it's still drinkable though. |

Three Shock Tops are gone. Starting on the Mueller. Springfield brews a good Wheat.

Jack on ice as usual and I'm drunk!

I hope you enjoy the Harvest Dance, luv. I heart that beer so much.
I'm drinking my beloved Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale now that the 2009 batch is in stores. My fridge contents at the moment: 5x Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 4x Bell's Rye Stout 3x Boulevard Bully! Porter 1x Rogue Yellow Snow IPA 1x Stone Smoked Porter 1x Goose Island Sofie 1x Goose Island Bourbon County Stout 1x Boulevard [Smokestack Series] Saison 1x Boulevard [Smokestack Series] Harvest Dance Wheatwine |

now drinking: Rogue Yellow Snow IPA. Surprisingly tasty. Smells just like weed.
Fridge update: in addition to the beers listed two posts ago, I have today added 6x additional Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 4x Boulevard [Smokestack Series] Bourbon Barrel Quad (it came out this week in KC; look for it near you) 4x Founders Imperial Stout 4x Founders Backwoods Bastard (a bourbon barrel aged Scotch Ale) 1x Bell's Java Stout 1x Bell's Double Cream Stout |
Quote:
Have you tried O'Fallon Breweries Smoked Porter? It's a bit much for me. 1 is OK but the smoke flavor gets to be a bit much after that. |

now drinking: Founders Imperial Stout. It's well-worth the $10 4-pack. Chocolate, roasted malts, toasted pecan and a delicious black currant/boysenberry fruity phenolic character.

Trying Lagunitas' Brown Shugga Ale for the first time. Very light for 9.8% alcohol but a little too sweet (brown sugar) for my usual taste.
|
yager bombs and thats cause all the store had was giant bottles of everything else...im in oakland seeing muse at oracle arena tonight and seeing them in vegas tomorrow. im going behind enemy lines and will be uncomfotably close to the black hole, wish me luck. from what ive seen so far, ive been lucky not be any sort of victim.

TANK 7, everyone should grab this tonight.....right now i have a diet choke
|
Quote:
FYI everyone -- Boulevard's [Smokestack Series] Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale is out in stores now. It is a part of the regular Smokestack Series lineup, replacing the Saison. Tank 7 itself is a Saison, too, and a better (though entirely different) recipe. |

I am going to try harvest dance as well! |

I don't remember the name, but it was a 16 year old Islay single malt that I got from my boss, and I drank about half of the ****ing bottle at the office Christmas party. Then we moved on to a bar and I started drinking Soco and limes and Hacker pShorr. **** I'm hammered. I haven't been this drunk in years.
Merry ****ing Christmas!@! :toast: |
I had to drive, so I had A beer.
Now that I'm home, its on mother f**kers. |
Was thinking of Coconut Rum and pineapple juice, but I think I'll go with hot chocolate and Kahlua.
