Eh, I don't really get the Notre Dame hate this year, and I've been just as annoyed with all the hype/media coverage/Lou Holtz over the past 20 years than anyone.... they beat MSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Stanford (and USC without Barkley)... they went undefeated. They're #1 in the computer rankings. I don't think they'll beat Alabama, but I don't think Georgia, Florida, KSU, or Oregon would either.

This will change next week, but Florida is 4-1 against BCS Top 13 teams. The top 3 in the BCS are a combined 4-2 against BCS Top 13 teams. :)

So the BCS should shake out like this?

BCS NC - Notre Dame vs. Alabama/Georgia

Rose Bowl - Nebraska/Wisconsin vs UCLA/Stanford
Orange Bowl - FSU/Ga-Tech vs. Louisville/Rutgers/Syracuse/Cincinnati

The Fiesta/Sugar then selects from the remaining:
1. Oklahoma/K-State
2. Florida/Georgia/Bama (whichever is ranked higher following the SECCG)
3. Oregon
4. Clemson or Oklahoma/K-State

So, hypothetically, the Fiesta could be an Oklahoma-K-State rematch.

The Sugar Bowl will likely get Florida/Georgia/Alabama.

The remaining possible teams for opponents for the Sugar & Fiesta are then Oregon and Oklahoma/K-State/Clemson.

Since the Fiesta has the B12 champ as an AQ the Sugar Bowl then gets first pick - which will be Florida/Bama/Georgia. Then the Fiesta gets to pick again - probably Oregon. Then the Sugar will choose the final team - likely OU or K-State.

Regardless, there will be ~4 top-10 teams shut out of the BCS.

SEC teams are going to run roughshod over their bowl opponents. Those teams left out of the BCS will get matched up against inferior teams.

And, as usual, it will probably be something like the #2 or #3 team from a conference vs. the SEC #4 or #5 team, and the SEC will still dominate.
