He was talking about season averages (which have little influence on single games), and when shown a flaw in his argument he switches to talking about a single game |

It's funny, I see the debate/arguing and I'm trying to guess who the poster is on patsfans.com. |

I will concede KC in all likelihood -- especially at home -- has the better pass rush but the Patriots pass rush looked pretty darn good last game. How much pressure the Patriots get is in part a coaching decision. I think BB/Flores will go after Mahomes more than some people suspect.
I would not be surprised if KC's sack rate has been helped by their high powered offense. If you get a lead, the other team has to throw more often and you kind of know you can pressure that team. |

Regardless, nobody is saying that sacks are the end-all be-all in defense. You're cherry picking that argument. People are pointing out that pressure % between the two teams is fairly comparable. Combine that with a home game for KC, the increase in actual sacks, and the fact that NE has been below average on the road against far lesser teams...we tend to think that we have an advantage. |

You do realize that KC got Brady twice AT Gillette. What do you think they are going to do at Arrowhead with the help of crowd noise? They got to him 3 times last time Brady played at Arrowhead. KC doesnt have to accumulate an "inordinate" amount of sacks to affect the outcome of the game. They get to him at least 3 times and that should be enough. 2 should force a punt, and since Ford and Houston force a turnover about every other sack, the third will be a turnover. |

Are you going to even note the fact the chiefs are without CJ Spiller? |

Thanks man. It can be entertaining to see different folks smack talk back and forth. |

Brady threw the ball 36 times on vs PIT. Will probably be around the same on Sunday, since we will look to control the clock and run the ball a lot against a non-existent run defense. Our OL has played well all season but is playing at an even higher level now. I don't think you get more than a sack on him Sunday, and you won't get many total pressures either. |
