Did the ball hit Edelman?
I thought - and still think very clearly - that it hit his bicep. So, do you think it hit him?
who cares
Honestly this play didn't even matter because Sorenson picked it (the next play?) and we gained 3 yards from where we would've gotten it. But to answer the question I thought it hit his left thumb.
Not that it matters now, bit no. They showed very good angles eliminating each possible point of contact in one or the other.
Got a pick shortly thereafter so it evened out anyway |
Hit his biceps????
I thought his left hand touched it but that was the only thing I thought could have touched it. I don't know where they saw anything that definitively showed that he didnt touch it to overturn the call. Doesn't matter. 2 crucial plays cost the Chiefs this game. Mahomes missing Williams on a TD when he was on his own ****ing island and then Dee Ford being the dumbest player in the stadium. |
It did not hit him. Are you blind? Look at the reply from the front.
Yes, if I had a GIF of it - which I am sure will surface, I felt you could see the skin move around the lower bicep area.
I thought it was inconclusive and should have stood based on the call on the field. Don't know why the call was our ball and not a TD though.
Each camera angle brought up both thumbs and his bicep as possible but each disproved the touch the other angles brought into question.

The right call was made.
I did not think it touched him but the ref looked so uncertain so I don't see how the ruling on the field didn't stand.

Even if it didn't it was so close there was no way it should have been overturned.
