Not true at all. Veach sounded like he'd consider it again last week and the bears definitely would have. If the skins hadn't just claimed Reuben Foster they probably would have claimed him off waivers.

I said the exact same thing a couple days ago but CP said Hunt wouldn’t sign for the minimum. I even said 2 year deal to prove it. Looks like I should be the GM

Ironically this is part of the reason cutting Hunt immediately was the right move.
