Damn, that sucks but it's good that you got out. I was up at Shaver last weekend and the smoke was pretty intense despite the fire being fairly far away.

Stay safe. Know someone who lost every thing last year in the fires around Santa Rosa. They now live in Arizona. **** fire.

Stay safe and good luck.

Did they send you somewhere to wait, or did you find a place on your own to go?

We went over to a friends house. Pretty sure there were locations that you could evacuate to if you needed someplace to go.

Glad to hear that everything's in one piece. Don't be a hero; that's the dachshund's role.

Glad to hear you aren’t dead. I did always kinda assume you must live near San Fran. I guess I called that one. In all seriousness, glad you and your family are safe. I’d really miss you around these parts.

Tell the wife I said Hi.

Great to hear. I had a very good friend lose everything up in Redding. They were out of town.

So the house is safe?

Demonpenz 08-11-2018 01:04 PM

Nice job using evacuated correctly. If you evacuate people it means giving them an enima

Good for you Pest, good thoughts and prayers for you, your family and home.

I remember finding ashes all over my rental car down there in Southern California several times.

Yeah. No damage other than the inside still smells like a ****ing campfire. That and the kids and animals are still a little freaked.

TinyEvel 08-11-2018 03:29 PM

Shit man, be careful. I forgot you were up close to that. It's bad. Take it easy. Let me know if you need some help. I'm down near San Rafael now.
