Sad News regarding Simms and Lefkoe
 

The podcast is no more as Chris Simms is leaving bleacher report and he is finishing up with 2 shows this week..he announced that on their new pod that just went up tonight.

Lefkoe is going to continue on in some way without him.

Kinda sad far and away the best show about football going today is ending.

Well that sucks ass.

Simms is the best analyst in the business AFAIC. Hopefully he ends up in a position that he can continue to speak freely if you know what I'm saying.

He didn't say where he was going other than it was a great opportunity.

He'll be another NBC suit and stick to their script now.

Yeah I bet he’s getting something full time on nbc or going to do play by play on cbs or something

Damn it I loved this podcast

They should really get a Simms and Simms thing going.

It'd be fun.

This sucks.

Writing was on the wall though as NBC kept finding a larger role for him.

Just announced this morning he is going to be on Pro Football Talk 4 days a week with Mike Florio & he is now going to be on Sunday Night Football full time too.

I absolutely love Simms. I stumbled on that podcast at the start of the year and loved it.

The way Simms is completely open with his info and opinions it's like sitting down with an NFL player at the bar and getting to ask questions for a few hours...

That's a very bad idea.

I always thought of them as a team. You don't break up the Smothers Brothers ... or Abbott and Costello ... or Martin and Lewis ... or Hitler and Goebbels ... without repercussions.

This is a net loss for football fans.

Yeah this sucks, really fell in love with this podcast this season...feel bad for Lefkoe, gonna be a tough seat to fill.

Yeah, gonna miss this podcast. Not only great analysis, but they covered EVERY team, not just the east coast and the Cowboys.
