I'm ashamed
I broke my rule. I watched the Super Bowl last night. I hadn't watched one in 12 years... I think? The last I watched was when the Rams beat the Titans. Was that 2000? Anyway I said then that I'm not watching this over-blown thing again until the Chiefs were playing in it... and I stayed true to my word until this year. There was a bet involved too.
I like the Ravens. My daughters name is Raven. I hate the 49ers. They had the Montana/Young years so they can suck it. I didn't watch the Ravens first Super Bowl win but this one I couldn't help. I really hate the 49ers. I wanted to see Baltimore beat the shit out of them... like I predicted... and they did for a half. Then everything got stupid. But at least the Ravens/Flacco won. I'm a fan. **** the 49ers. Now go Chiefs. *not any more of a worthless thread than 10 others on any given day. |
Ray Lewis forgives you.

what kind of man doesn't watch the Super Bowl?

I don't care about Ray Lewis. He's a player on a team I was rooting for. Really the butthurt over him is re-god-damn-diculous.

I watched maybe 20% of it. |

At one point in time the Chiefs could say they had played in half of all the Super Bowls. Sigh.
|
I enjoy the games...for the most part...def last night though was a great game. I think the key is to watch none of the build up and the hype. Then all you have is a great game of championship football to enjoy without all this surrounding bullshit.

That's pretty ****ing weird for a football fan not to watch the super bowl for 12 straight years. You've missed some great games and potentially some good parties..
I like to watch football.. Especially the biggest football game of the year. |

I didn't expect most to get it. OMG you didn't watch the Super Bowl?! It's the same pop culture many here protest... but it's different right? |
I didn't say that I take issue with a Superbowl win or loss....that's your stance, no?

OK you're as boring as the rest of the stupid n00bs. Drink another. Make less sense... as long as you keep up the dumb fight.
|
I always watch. I don't know why you wouldn't want to but you're self-admitted a much bigger baseball fan than football so whatever floats your boat.
|
I'm surprised you didn't start this thread before the SB, and subsequently start another thread for the aftermath of sweeping and utter shame.
..slacker! |

What's the real reason why you haven't watched a Superbowl in 12 years?
Is it A. You don't care unless your team is in it. B. You want to tell everyone how different and unique you are by not watching it. C. You never get invited to any Superbowl parties, so it makes you sad to watch it. D. You don't watch TV or football. |

You must pay the price.
Leave this forum forever. |
If you're really feeling bad about it, perhaps arrange a meeting with Matt Cassel? He's great at cheering people up. Contact the Chiefs IMMEDIATELY. Matt Cassel is a great guy and will do anything for you.
