At this point i'm ready for this game to be out NOW, Fallout got too many BS nerfs and fixes of the fun glitches. Fortnite is lacking any significant new content and i'm tired of the same old crap in the Division. Back to playing coop Borderlands 2 with some great mods until this launches. Can't come soon enough.

Hyped for the VIP beta this week...drops alongside RE2 though so gonna have to find some time lol.

I'm past ready for the release, wish we could just skip the beta and move on to the real thing. Basically i get 2 beta's then nothing for almost 2 weeks then early release which I will pay the EA $15 monthly fee to play it a week early. Yes I'm #1 looking forward to this that much and in need of something new to play. So bored i'm rotating between Borderlands 2, Division 1 and Fortnite(which needs some new content)

I feel ya, I'm totally ready for it...thankfully REmake 2 is coming at the perfect time, it'll tide me over until release.

I'm kind of interested in this but the EA label kind of worries me. I will keep an eye on the beta, probably watch some streams and youtube videos and see what people are saying and then I might buy it if I like what I hear. Looks like I'd like it though, the thing I hated about Destiny was having to go and find people to play with for the end game stuff, which I never did. This at least says it has matchmaking for everything.

The PC preload was up yesterday. I'm downloaded and ready to go. You have to go to Anthem in the 'store' and use refresh page to get the button to pop up. It will show up right below 'add to library' button.

Finally found it, had to go to try it for free under the store page and find the anthem demo. It was less than obvious that's for sure even Ben Irving said i'm looking into it and is still researching why it doesn't pop up automatically. Preloaded and ready to go! ;)

Loved the first one, day one for me...3 Dark Zones now? Uh yes please.

I am(Division 1) but before you get too excited I hate pvp in the game, I avoid the DZ and the 14 year olds like the plague. I'm old and slow remember? haha

As for Division 2 i'm in a holding pattern, I do LOVE the 3rd person cover shooter aspects but the general lack of attention to open world roaming PVE and disdain for PVE'ers in general by the devs in that game puts me in wait on see on Division 2. Waiting to see what the Light zone has to offer before I buy it. It's really not a question of buying it honestly but at what price.

I actually watched this live even though I'll play all weekend. It was pretty great. They did one of the quests on hard and got rocked pretty good. Very close to a party wipe. And then the IGN guys ran the stream long pretty much because they didn't want to stop playing. LOL

And servers full same as the ****ing alpha test. This is not a good look considering this is ONLY preorders and EA access. What idiot makes the decisions on having a shit number of servers for a AAA online only title?

Bethesda did same thing with Fallout 76. The servers are still a pile of shit.

They shouldn't have called this a demo but a beta test, got in twice and first mission infinite loading screen have to alt F4 and go back to menu and try again. AAA devs shouldn't have these kind of problems, especially when they had the same problem in the alpha over a month ago.

I'm done with Bethesda, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and they banned me for making too many stimpacks. I feel dirty I ever said a good word about those pieces of shit. They sent me an email saying account suspended indefinitely. Then asked why were you making stimpacks for a half an hour? Really? Should have just given us private servers I don't want to play on their shit servers anyways. Responded back with I don't want to play your game anymore please give me a refund i'm done buying your games.

Yeah, I got into Fort Tarsis but not the mission.

My 4th time going in mission now, it always stops at 95% loading and i have to alt f4. Same this time it just won't let me in. Last time my origin stopped working and took over 30 minutes to get back ONTO origin. THey're having major issues I mean it's affecting ALL EA games not just this one. Looks like they were totally unprepared, do they have any other games with dedicated servers? i think it's mostly peer to peer like destiny.

Not likely this happens on launch day, at least not to this extent. I think this is EA not spending as much on the beta as the number of people required.

I've gotten into Tarsis 4 times, have a sweet silver ranger, all ready to go, just can't get past the infinite load loop into freeplay.

Exact same here, i've launched into the actual game 5 times now and it ALWAYS gets stuck at 95%. I uninstalled/am reinstalling the game. Perhaps a buggy file or something from preload.

Just got into freeplay

I did about the same time, but my buddy still cant join me. Lolz they should fix this before everyone cancels preorders. I have patience but most don't.

Spoke too soon, kicked but man the gameplay is amazing. It's hard but fun to try and master.

I actually got about 2.5 hrs in. Then I lost connection. Loaded back into Tarsis, lost all my loot (about 10 greens and 15 Grey's) but kept all my xp, coins and crafting loot. So I just made myself a blue seeker missile. If I can ever load back in to try it.

And yeah the gameplay is awesome. Couple hours went by in a snap.

Got back into free play and my loot was still in the backpack. Nice feature.

Yeah 5 minutes into this demo and I'm already loving it...gameplay is buttery smooth and the loop is awesome. The vertical and flying aspect really add a lot of strategy...once players really get the flying and hovering etc. down pat its gonna be magic.

Really, really like what I'm seeing so far...just has me even more excited for the full release.

Right the best part is there is much to master but when you first hop in it's like you're in an IRONMAN suit flying around sometimes head first into solid objects. I just cringe and think man that's gottta hurt but the gameplay loop and the missions so engrossing are an easy selling point here.

I played pretty much all night but Bioware needs to fix the load in 95% and lockup shit that happens at least 50% of the time. Fortunately they added a feature to rejoin where you left off so its alt f4 and restart/rejoin and you're in the action.

Been running fine for me today. Love that they unlocked all 4 javelins. I have now reaffirmed that I love all of them but collossus, and I'm probably maining storm.

Didn't get a chance to play much yesterday but at 4pm I was still having loading problems stopping at 95%. I have a top of the line PC with google fiber so i'm not sure what could be causing the issue. I also deleted/redownloaded the game and it was still doing it.

The Collossus is fun but they need to make him more tanky, seems he's about the same as the Ranger defensively but that won't fly considering he takes all the aggro. I found myself mostly hiding with him waiting for my shields etc to regen.

No paid dlc, no loot boxes, 20 bucks is a lot for a vanity item but considering that's how they will fund the game from here on out AND the fact you can earn those by playing it's much ado about nothing. NOT pay to win. I have never paid for a vanity item nor will I care if a whale does in a game. Easier for me because one charge up front of $60 and then nothing else for the life of the game. They did say they might add in things like new suits to fly around in for charges, something I can get behind and support so they can keep the game world fresh.

It won't be $20- bioware stated that was just a random pricing showing how they are going to model the skins with both in-game currency and premium currency.

Right but i've seen a number of youtubers freakout over these things. It is a vanity item and it's not a loot box so whatever they want to charge won't affect me as Grinding is the fun of these games and i'm not playing dress up barbie. I'm more of an old school gamer where I can look like Bambi and won't care if i'm kicking ass. Substance over style I guess but i'm not too upset over non essential things in games.

Now Division 2 on the other hand will have Loot boxes and is somewhat pay to win considering buying the $100 to $200 version gives you extra inventory space. That's really crappy but so is Ubisoft as I've always seen them as more shady than even EA. Extra inventory space in a loot shooter is pay to win to me.

The YouTube tards going apeshit over that placeholder image was just hilarious. You know the number isn't the final, and even if it was, you still don't know how much coins cost. So $20 was just kind of arbitrarily settled upon.

What it does show you is which tubetards are worth watching. Namely anybody who didn't randomly go off the last couple of days, looking for clicks...

This weekend is really important for BioWare, though. They can't have the kind of issues they had during the alpha or during last weekend.

Just finished the hard stronghold with a buddy and some noob. Only 3 of us and it's hard but once you get better at what you're doing it's not too bad. Just takes some kiting.

glad there was a demo. I don't think this game is good for console, it's like 5 FPS when you look side to side and after about the 10th loading screen in 10 minutes I just dashed out. And it didn't seem like there was any way to communicate with the randoms you are playing with. Hard pass.

PC had the same problems last week, this week it seems much better. I mean other than the 5 fps thing not sure why that would happen. Had lots of loading screens and lockups last week but this week ran smooth as butter. I've had zero crashes or slowdowns but I have a nice system with a 1080 TI and Ryzen 1800.

The demo build is quite a bit behind the real build also, they tweaked the 6 week old demo for bugs but i'm not sure it's an accurate representation of the final game. Quite a bit stripped from this version too and the menu systems will be a lot different in the final Fwiw.

This is my third weekend playing on ps4 and I haven't had frame issues at all, in what has to be 40+ hours of play.

This weekend has been almost completely clean. Zero issues logging in. Only neg is that I think I've been kicked from freeplay back to tarsis two or three times. Loading screens this weekend have been noticeably shorter than prior weekends. The only long ones I see now are at the start and end of missions.

I don't know, I haven't been ingame yet today. Trying to get some work done so I'm not up all night.

No cataclysm, just an ancient ash titan. I killed 3 or 4 of them, but it was no joke, especially on hard. Massive hp pool, and unlike the lessers, he has the chest beam,which can just wreck you in no time. Dropping my full ultimate on him didn't even drop a single bar of health.

Totally ready to play the full game now. Didn't run any missions more than once and didn't run the stronghold at all. As much as I did it, Freeplay didn't burn me out and so far it seems like a great option for loot when it goes live. Can't wait to get my real javelins started.

Some REAL JUICY stuff here, that RNG and Loot system looks pretty sweet.
