I enjoyed it. It's slightly clunky, but it follows the book pretty well. I ended up watching the entire run in a day. If you haven't read the book, it will likely be pretty confusing. But if you're a Gaiman fan, you'll like it.

It was available on Netflix Instant Play a while back... that's where I caught it.

He was damn near brilliant.

Amazing how this dude disappears since Breaking Away then makes a comeback the past few years.

watched "A Haunting in Connecticut" last night.

Creeped me out. Then watched the documentary also on the blu-ray disc.....gotta say, the mom, cousin, and youngest son - they all seemed pretty believable.

Either way, a pretty creepy movie with some good jumps in it...and above average acting.

Caught a bit of the Departed on TV, which gave me a craving, so I popped in the Bluray this past weekend. One of the best movies ever!

They should have called it The Head Shot Movie. :bang:

Eh, one of the best movies ever? Not even top 3 of Scorsese's best movies ever (IMO).

Watch the original, Infernal Affairs, it's at least as good. IMHO far better.

Not a big Taxi Driver fan, actually.

In no particular order, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, Gangs of New York... I think Casino's better than The Departed, too.

Truth be told, I'm pretty sure Scorsese won the Oscar for The Departed because he got jobbed on Gangs of New York. They do that sometimes when they realize the wrong movie won.
