I've only seen about half of Black Snake Moan. Is it worth trying to watch the other half?

I did get through the part where you get to see Christina Ricci's tatas if that makes a difference.

It's on my next list.

I think Charlie Bartlett was his worst work, of the stuff I've seen.

Watched it earlier tonight and not sure what to think of it.

It had a few tedious stretches and I didn't know what the hell was going on for a good portion of the second half. I was also fairly tired when watching, which couldn't have helped.

Loved this one as well. After watching Synecdoche I checked Kauffman's IMDB page and was amused that his first two writing credits were for two episodes of Get a Life, which was an early 90's Chris Elliott sitcom.

I recently watched the following:

Man On Wire - Good movie, pretty interesting. One of those movies that if you saw it without ever hearing about it you'd be really pleasantly surprised. But, if you heard all the rave reviews and see it you are left a little disappointed expecting a little more.

Slumdog - really good.

Tell No One - French movie with subtitles. A very good Hitchcok-ian type thriller that you don't see in the U.S. anymore.

Oooh, I should get The Wrestler and Tell No One today, been lookin forward for the Wrestler. I still cant get Slumdog Millionaire tho

And one of the delightful characteristics of Adaptation is, like The Big Lebowski, Animal House, The Godfather [even if 'it insists upon itself'], and a few select others, it holds up to repeat viewings. It has really grown to one of my favorites of all time.

Okay, rainy weekend. I got Notorious, Bride Wars, Role Models, and Frost Nixon.
