That's dam good as an 8oz snifter was over $10. My $6 a shifter crush is $32 plus 8% tax for a growler.

Bought the growler and took it back to the hotel. Enjoying some while I watch an illegal stream of the Jets whipping the Blues.

Lol, this might be the hardest post in this thread. $30 is a good price, but 64 ounces...in a hotel, ****.

Not only does it sound like a tween goth kid came up with the name, I've never been a fan of orange and chocolate together, but they nailed the chocolate in this. Vanilla on the other hand, biggest disappointment. It has an overpowering artificial taste, even though I know they used a ton of real vanilla. This one is more for them pastrybois. I'll likely store my Vanilla until I hear word its mellowed a bit. That said, the wife and I did a cuvée of Orange and Vanilla and it had a nice creamsicle thing going that was pretty fun to drink.

My personal favs based on couple oz pours yesterday:

Reserve
Prop
Wheatwine
Midnight Orange
Regular
Coffee Barleywine
Vanilla

Bramble Rye

That's disappointing to hear about the Vanilla, but I'm getting more and more stoked to try that Wheatwine. I scored two bottles of both the Vanilla and the Wheatwine, and six regular. I would have liked to get a small pour of the orange just to try it. I don't think I'd handle a full bottle, though. The orange thing just seems odd.

Also, dude, the VSOJ....man.

He's just starting in the hotel room. Hot Tub by 21 ounces is my bet.

Lol, not all at once.

I have a fridge in the room and two more nights to finish it.

No judgement here. I drank a growler by myself at a bed and breakfast in Vermont once. Loved that beer.

I'd take my opinion of the Vanilla with a grain of salt. People seem to really like it and I'm a bit adverse to out of balance, flavored stouts. I get more of a Cointreau flavor in the Orange which I enjoy, probably because I enjoy Cointreau cocktails.

Funny you mention a full bottle of BCS and VSOJ. I really hope packaging BA beers in 12 oz cans becomes a trend.

Why is no one saying what they paid fot their bottles??

The same reason I don't want to go first? Twobags bragging that he got it cheaper?

I paid $14.99 a bottle with a free Reserve that I do not know the price of.

What is the price on VSOJ, I have not found it here but looking later today.

Spent the day bar hopping in Georgetown, wife needed a nap so I'm back at the hotel streaming Sunday ticket and drinking BCS out of a Hilton paper coffee cup.

LMAO

$30 for a growler is ****ing highway robbery, awesome deal for you. Go get a goddamn glass though. :D

Mildly disappointed with the orange... too subtle for me, but still a high quality stout that was pretty damn smooth. I'll probably open the other 3 every few months.
