It was great. Tons of stuff caught me off guard.

I like the rips on liefield.

enjoyed it for the most part (some really funny moments ) but I gotta say I'm leaning towards the 1st one more. The comedic timing was better imo .
Still though, this is definitely a worthy sequel and I would recommend seeing in theaters if you enjoyed the 1st one .

Spoiler!

I liked the first one better but this one was definitely solid. The first half of the movie seemed like the jokes just weren't hitting. The second half definitely got better and the credits had me rolling.

I thought they tried too hard in this one, the comedy flowed much more naturally in the first one. In this one it's almost exhausting to keep up with every joke, especially when characters are talking in quick succession, and everyone in the theater is laughing at the last joke that was said 2 seconds ago.
Spoiler!

I enjoyed it alot, but the first was better.

The problem with sequels is that it is hard to surprise with the characters. In the first one, you couldn't believe they went there. In the second, you expect them to, which is why things can feel "forced".

I absolutely loved the movie. The mid credits were some of the best I have ever experienced, I was belly laughing! Yes, I liked the first one "better", but part of that was the surprise/shock value.

I agree the movie got funnier as it went on, but I think that's a better formula than loading up at the front and letting the end dribble out. I thought the fourth wall jokes were better than the first.

great sequel! as good, if not better than the original, in my opinion. my wife wanted to see this (she never goes to the movies). best wife in the whole world........

I can't quite remember ever laughing so hard during a movie. And the action was top notch. Brolin was great.

It was honestly better than the original, and the post-credits stuff was mind-blowingly awesome and funny.

Ryan Reynolds needs to make more movies.

LMAO that whole legs scene had me dying. Close second was the team all parachuting in.

Sure-Oz 05-20-2018 06:00 PM

Enjoyed this...even if it was a simple plot. First one I like slightly better but I loved this one too. I'll but it on Blu-ray. The end credits had me rolling.

and oh yeah, the James Bond stuff LMAO

I was rolling

This movie really made me want MORE Cable/Deadpool action. They are a perfect duo.

Hammock Parties 05-20-2018 06:52 PM

Oh wow. So this explains that one scene with Cable looking at his body and acting weird about it.

Quote:

A disease called the Techno-Organic virus has already converted a lot of his body (like his left arm and eye) into bionic parts, and would consume more if it could. Fortunately, those bionic parts give him superhuman strength and agility, so that makes up for his mental powers almost always being tapped out.

Hog's Gone Fishin 05-20-2018 07:21 PM

My daughter loved it and keeps telling me I need to go see it.

Gotta agree with this. Reynolds is a criminally underrated actor. He was born to play Deadpool. by any chance, have you seen The Voices ? Its a small dark comedy that came out in 2015 (I think) and he plays a serial killer in it. really really good ****ed up film that I would recommend to any Reynolds fan . I believe its currently available to stream on Amazon Prime.
