My thoughts too. I feel like they could cut out 30 minutes off episodes just by cutting all the useless banter and moral statements.

The season was good but that finale was a turd.

As I told my sister recently, Strange New Worlds blows it away now but for a while The Orville was the best Star Trek show under production.
