Napolean was 5'6"
joaquin phoenix is 5'8"

When it gets posted that he was 5'2" that was with the French inch (pounce) which is slightly longer than the imperial inch.

Not that much difference. In fact he was slightly taller than the avg french man at the time.

This is gonna be bad ass, Phoenix is a Daniel Day Lewis-type talent

BWillie just continuing his multi-year losing streak around here

This looks very very good. Sometimes that is the kiss of death with trailers, but doubtful with this actor.

Danny DeVito would make the perfect Benjamin Franklin

This looks damn good. Great director and lead. Looks like they spend the money to pull this off/ I'll go see it at the movies.

kccrow 11-18-2023 08:03 PM

Interested to see what people think when they go see it. Looks good to me and I want to go see it, but early critics aren't impressed. Wondering if the wait for the 4-hour director's edition after theaters will be worth the wait?

Hammock Parties 11-22-2023 07:42 PM

Dad's a history buff and loved it.

Rain Man 11-22-2023 09:25 PM

I haven't been to a movie theater in at least five years, but my wife and I both thought this looks very interesting. We've got a date scheduled to see it at the theater.

Rain Man 11-23-2023 02:04 PM

Uh-oh. My wife just reported negative reviews of this movie in both the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.

mr. tegu 03-03-2024 10:00 PM

Finally got around to this one. It was not very good at all.
