It's pretty damn awesome! Fight scenes and voice acting are top notch. Downside...this first season is only four episodes long. Also, familiarity with the games...which date back to the old NES....helps with following the story. But newcomers can still hop on the train and enjoy the ride.

cool. I've been a fan since '86. I saw this thread then checked out some previews. this looks awesome. the anime is hand drawn. Dracula's castle looks perfect.

Anybody still watching this? Season 2 has been out. I think it's much better than the first season.

I've been a CV fan since the first one on NES but this show...I don't know. Just didn't really grab me.

Just finished season 1 about to start s2. Love it already. Any other Netflix animated series that are similar?

While still good, the first season was short enough to feel like more of a pilot movie than a series. Really enjoyed where they took things in the second season.

Pretty good season, but it had a unnerving finale

Mildly disappointed this didn’t get the usual HDR 4K treatment from Netflix that most of their original stuff does.

Still haven’t started and saving for later this weekend.

Yep, it was a good season and very engaging.

Glad to hear it. Really liked s1&2 and am not really an anime guy but like Castlevania as a kid.
