I think it's gone as well as any Chiefs fan could have hoped up to this point.

The article is pretty spot on. Personally, i don't think the Raiders will ever make the playoffs under Gruden.

I think Oakland is a better team with Crabtree. He'd disappear for games at a time, but he always seemed to make a clutch catch or score when they absolutely needed it.

He was average before. Been out 20 years . Getting rid of his weapons to make a point that he's boss. I'm liken it.

Raiders will continue to battle Denver for the #1 draft pick.

It's been more like 10 years, but I understand your point. I think the key is what you opened with, the guy was a slightly above average coach to start with. His time on MNF has given people a more positive view of him.

Crabtree made all your big plays in the red zone.

That muthafaquer quit on the team last year, and had trouble catching a cold. I'd rather have Jordy Nelson, even at his age than Crabtree.

Way too early for an article like this. I definitely think Gruden being out a while and being on TV/having the QB camp, etc. have upped his "legend" status. That's what the contract is about. They got sold on the bling. I'm hoping for a crash and burn but who knows.

Crabtree and King were good players

Meh. The jury is still out.

While Raiders fans can argue that the team hasn't gotten much worse, they certainly haven't gotten any better (personnel wise) since Gruden took over.

But he still has the draft and maybe some cap casualties from other teams to scoop up, so I'll wait and see how the rest of the off-season plays out . . . . .

Jordy is the better player.

Not today.

It seems like Gruden forgets that time is about to pass some of these guys by. He keeps getting guys that were great...a few years ago. The Chiefs are getting younger, the Raiders are getting older. I like our approach much, much better.

The Raiders are gonna be like The Little Giants!!! I hope they don’t try to run the “Annexation of Puerto Rico” against us!!!

If I’m not mistaken, that’s ALWAYS been the Fades mo. They’ve always seemed to favor guys on their 3rd or 4th contract regardless of who’s coaching?

This is reminding me more and more of ol’ Chip and his destruction of teams.
