810 Just said someone got murderd outside Arrowhead
Police: Man who died at Arrowhead was in a vehicle similar to one he arrived in
December 3 BY CHRISTINE VENDEL The Kansas City Star A Smithville man who was found in someone else’s Jeep and then died in a struggle outside Arrowhead Stadium Sunday had gone to the game in a similar vehicle that was parked nearby, police said Tuesday. The Jeep also showed no signs of a break-in, leading police to believe it may have been left unlocked when Kyle Van Winkle, 30, climbed in and sat down. Police released the additional details Tuesday as they continued to investigate what led to the death of Van Winkle, who had attended the Chiefs game against the Denver Broncos with relatives. Detectives planned to interview relatives Tuesday to determine when they last saw him inside the stadium. Police were called to Lot A of the Truman Sports Complex about 5:20 p.m. Sunday on a disturbance. Witnesses told police the Jeep owner had returned to his vehicle with his son, who is about 10 years old, when they realized a stranger was inside. The boy summoned help from several tail-gaters and they engaged in a struggle with Van Winkle, who had been sitting in the Jeep. Van Winkle collapsed and later died at a hospital. Police did not say how Van Winkle died, but they said his body bore no signs of obvious injury. Officers arrested three men shortly after the death, but they had to track down the fourth man who was arrested. Police searched one man’s home in Independence on Monday. Detectives released three of the men Monday night and the fourth man Tuesday morning, pending further investigation. Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/2013/12/03...#storylink=cpy |

I thought I was going to witness a murder walking out of the Chargers game last week. The truth is a good portion of the people who go to NFL games are ****ing morons.
|
I bet a Bronco murdered a Chief. I'll also bet a bunch of Chiefs stood around watching and did nothing.

HOMICIDE UPDATE:
Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a disturbance broke out. The father apparently died during the fight. |

I pray this isnt a fan/opposing fan thing.
The national media will jump all over this (and rightfully so). EDIT: looks like it was a dirtbag thief. |

Was this in an Arrowhead lot or one of the crackhead lots across the street?
|
Don't try to handle crime on your own. Get on the phone and call the police. Few people are equiped to handle perps.
|
Thats awful for the son. Presumably watching his dad die.
|
We just celebrated my youngest son's 1st birthday yesterday. I told him I'd take him to Chiefs games in just a few years. That update just made me physically ill to read.
|
Now it says thief died

Struggle at Arrowhead Stadium during game leaves 1 man dead
Posted: Dec 01, 2013 7:11 PM CST Updated: Dec 01, 2013 7:51 PM CST By DeAnn Smith, Digital Content Manager - email KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - A man is dead following a struggle in an Arrowhead Stadium parking as the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos played each other. Kansas City police Chief Darryl Forte called it a homicide in a tweet. Other police officials called it a death investigation. Police officials said the struggle occurred in Lot A during the game. The man was rushed to an area hospital where he died. Forte said two suspects are in custody. Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died. Police officials did not say whether the two in custody were the father and his son or not. This occurred exactly one year after Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed Kasandra Perkins, the mother of his infant daughter, and then drove to Arrowhead where he killed himself in front of horrified team leaders. KCTV5 is gathering more information. Refresh this page for updates. Copyright 2013 KCTV (Meredith Corp.) All rights reserved. Posted via Mobile Device |
Well we know it wasn't anyone from CP because they would've blown the perp away.
