Interesting. I'm just now putting down an old gmc jimmy that was used as a work truck for many years. 350,000 miles and never a serious issue. I'm not going to get into Ford vs. Chevy debate because frankly I've never really seen much of a difference between the two, but anecdotally Chevy has been pretty good to me.

I dont doubt it. Everyone has different experiences, in mine Ive never had any problems with Fords but every GM Ive had has been a giant pile of shit. There is a reason the Ford F150 has been the best selling vehicle for more than 30 years though.

Buddy of mine has been working there ever since High School. We lived right down the street. That guy barely graduated but that Ford plant has been the best thing that ever happened to him.

I wasted all that time in college...

Knew a guy that worked there out of high school or thereabouts etc. made killer money, like 60k etc. got laid off and couldnt find shit for more than 13/hr. lost all his shit.
