Yes, their soundtrack is fantastic (and I ****ing hate 80's music for the most part). It really adds to the show's period feel.

There is something to be said, whether it's conscious or not, about how she has the eyes of a Soviet loyalist on the show. Just a hint of hardness and anger, that flares when, say, her offspring decides to be friends with Jesus.

Very subtle, very convincing.

It's hard to remember sometimes that these are people who have literally given up everything for a cause -- and that makes them some of the most fascinating and dangerous people on the planet.

Even in this fictional version, it's fascinating to watch them try to change the world.
