I ****ing hate fantasy football.

#1 scoring team in both my leagues. First round bye.

Get to the divisional round in the playoffs and both of my teams take a huge shit. Average 195 points a game....scores 105.

**** this stupid game.

Hoover 12-17-2018 11:30 PM

yep. same shit here. Two #1 seeds down the drain. Averaged 150 its a week during the season, can't break 75 in the ****ing playoffs. **** you Drew Brees!

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-18-2018 01:36 AM

Quit nine years ago, haven't regretted it for a single day since.

OnTheWarpath15 12-18-2018 06:27 AM

Same here. Still outscored both teams in the other semi-final though, just for one extra kick in the junk.

dlphg9 12-18-2018 09:50 AM

Fantasy football just doesn't interest me one bit. I don't get thebobsession with it

DJ's left nut 12-18-2018 09:52 AM

Drew Brees and Saquon Barkley broke a lot of hearts this weekend.

I'm not inclined to listen to the moaning of folks who lost because they started Lamar Miller and he got hurt - he's Lamar Miller. But there were some pants shittings from great players.

As for Brees, he's so damn bad on the road this year that I've taken to actively rooting against the Saints. No team that is that miserable away from home should win a championship. They just suck outside of NO and Brees in particular is just worthless. Sadly, they'll never have to play a road game and hell, Atlanta's nearly a home venue for them.

I divested myself of Brees stock once I saw the 3 straight road games to end his season but still - what a ****ing dog.

O.city 12-18-2018 09:57 AM

I'm now in the losers bracket finale and if I lose, I have to do a 12 month raunchy calender shoot for the rest of the guys in the league.

I'm not excited.

Gravedigger 12-18-2018 10:04 AM

Almost happened to me too. I got Ryan, Julio, Chubb, Barkley, Kelce, Landry, and White and I barely beat Rothlisburger, Gurley, Riddick, Schuster, Samuel, Rudolph and Mixon. Onto the Championship!... luckily

Definetly swapping Damien Williams in for James White though, Patriots left White behind three games ago and he hasn't done squat since. It'll probably bury me in the end knowing my luck.

Dayze 12-18-2018 10:44 AM

I quit playing probably 8 years ago.
best thing ever.

my wife started playing last year, and is playing again this year. watching her get frustrated each week the same way I used to make me not miss it at all.

Old Dog 12-18-2018 10:49 AM

In two leagues and still alive in both. #1 seed in a first year league and #2 seed (playing vs the #6) in my 16 year old league that I've never won (have lost in the Championship game six damn times)....good news as a Chiefs fan though, I have R. Wilson starting at QB this week in that one, so there's a high probability he shits the bed.
Going against Mahomes, D Williams, and Kelce in the first one as well, so they should go OFF.

wazu 12-18-2018 11:44 AM

It’s a terrible hobby. Too late for me, though. Hopelessly addicted.

This. In 5 leagues(way to many). Made the playoffs in 4. One and done in one of them, 3rd place game and two championship games this weekend. Took lewdog out in the semifinal in one of them so he may show up bitching here at some point.

redfan 12-18-2018 01:44 PM

It's been a rough couple of weeks, to be sure. My studs haven't been studdin'.
Kinda sucks, but the scoring just isn't there. Unless you have Derrick Henry, of course.

Didn’t even have those guys.

I rolled with Mahomes, David Johnson, Michel, DJ Moore, Smith-Schuster, Ertz and Trquan Smith.

Lucky for me....I lost AJ Green and James Conner right before the playoffs.

pugsnotdrugs19 12-18-2018 08:43 PM

I’ve played in 11 leagues total in my life, made playoffs 9 times.

Many times I had a better team and lost to someone in the playoffs that was seeded lower. Last year I was a 1 seed and lost to the 4. This past week the ball bounced my way and I won both semifinals as the 2 seed, now going to two championship games.

It can be frustrating but part of what makes it so fun is the lack of predictability. It’s what makes it feel more real than fantasy in terms of sport.

Well, my team is still alive despite a bad showing last week. I had Gronk, Edelman, Pat's D and Gostkowski all starting. I think that the 7 points for the D was the highest output I had. But the other guy had a bad week too. I went into Monday night with a 15 point lead. I had Newton left, he had Brees left. Who would have thought that those 2 wouldn't even combine for 15 points. Lol. Now, going into the championship, Newton is already out. Fortunately, my other QB's are Trubisky and Goff, so I should be good there. Running backs will be Gurley and N Chubb. James Conner and S Ware are hurt. Who knows if they'll play. But, I think my chances are good. Especially if Gurley and Goff have a big game.

Better pick up John Kelly if you haven’t.

I did in one of my leagues, and my opponent has Gurley. Sure would be a shame if he couldn’t play.... ;)

I am going to have to do a raunchy 12 month calendar because ****ing Michael Thomas got tackled a yard short.

**** fantasy football.

Ceej 12-23-2018 05:57 PM

After this year I think I'm done too.

Q'finals in my dynasty league - lose by 10 points because of that crazy game ending lateral to Drake which accrued him 11 points. He hadn't done shit all day.

Semfinals - Up 20, Cam v. CMC, I lose by a point. I've already told the commish of that league, I won't be back. And he's a diehard, been running that league for years.

I'll stay in the dynasty because I feel obligated too. But, this year really killed FF for me.

I'd much rather dabble in DFS weekly.

Welp. Won one championship and lost the other. Pretty solid year, fun as usual.

Skyy God 12-25-2018 08:19 AM

My team (Rollin with Mahomies) won for the 2nd year in a row.

PM2 in the 10th round was key.

DaKCMan AP 12-26-2018 11:28 AM

Top scoring team in both leagues, lost championship to a 6-7 and 5-8 team. JFC

In the big $ league, any one of the following happens and I'd have won:

- Williams gets one of Aaron Rodgers two rushing TDs
- In OT if Rodgers (3rd) rushing TD hadn't been called back on a hold and he didn't throw a TD to Adams on the next play
- If Eli Manning's 1yd rushing TD went to Barkley
- If Ben doesn't go nuts in the 2nd half vs NO
- if Samuels doesn't catch a TD from Ben
- if Mahomes doesn't throw a TD to Damien Williams
- if Mahomes doesn't overthrow the Kelce TD
- if Mahomes throws a TD in the final possession instead of the Butker fg
- if Pettis doesn't get injured in the first half for SF and gets 15 more yards
- if Mike Evans doesn't catch a garbage TD with 1min left

So damn frustrating.

I also used that FF name.

CLUELESS FTW!

TambaBerry 12-26-2018 01:22 PM

fantasy football shouldnt be week to week matches, I had one year where I scored a lot of points every week but wound up losing more often then winning because my opponent would score a ton the week they faced me. Its a lot of luck involved. If they had a total points accrued throughout the season leagues i might get back into it.

Demonpenz 12-26-2018 02:28 PM

I haven't played in so long after a guy backed up and kneeled it to end the game cost me money.

The leagues I play in are H2H but they are better for this because the team scoring the most points gets paid money, and the tiebreakers are based on points scored.

The top 4 scoring teams made the playoffs in one of the leagues I’m in. So it worked well.

Sofa King 12-26-2018 07:47 PM

Won the regular season and the playoffs. I'm the champ. This is so easy.

Same (4-5 years ago for me). It's actually nice to sit down to watch and enjoy football rather than nearly having an aneurysm every Sunday because you're flying around from your phone to laptop trying to keep up with one of your 5-10 FF teams.

Miss it like a hemorrhoid.

88TG88 12-26-2018 10:10 PM

I was in 3 leagues and won one, but its stressful having to keep up with all of it. I'll only do one, if that, from now on and try to enjoy the games

Honestly, no Fantasy Football makes watching the games more enjoyable. But I only do 1 league now and I've done really well. 6th year of it, I won the playoffs 3 times and the season twice. Last three years I've dominated with 2 playoff championships and 2 season #1's. Was #1 last year and got beat first round. Year before that i snuck in at #7 seed and won the playoffs. This year i was dominant. Losing Kareem hurt but it didn't matter. #1 season and wont the playoffs.

kysirsoze 12-27-2018 12:02 AM

The league I'm in is 22 years old. I obliterated the regular season points record and I did it WITHOUT Mahomes on my team. Scored 65 ****ing points in my only playoff game. Gurley, Hill, Thielen, Beckham, Cam all shit the bed to varying degrees. Fantasy football is fun, but you gotta recognize it for what it is. About 85-90% luck.
