Best food was at Kara Kusa curry in Kyoto. Worst was probably the food on the flight from IAH to TPE.

Rode the shinkansen up to tokyo and down to kyoto.

I waited on the takoyaki so no burned mouth but I did burn it a bit eating some noodles.

The musical performer that I saw that was known from throwing natto into the crowd did not have any on the night I saw her.

7-11 beef and miso and the family mart soy sauce onigiri are my favorites. Not much open stumbling back from shinjuku or shibuya at 2am.
