Dont disagree with your second statement.

But your first, I do. Strongly. He has 7 seasons of 95+ passer rating. He has passed for over 25 touchdowns 7 times. He has passed for over 30 touchdowns 4 times.

I am not a huge Tony Romo fan, as I hate the Cowboys. But credit where credit is due. Romo is much better than the average fan gives him credit for, and if healthy, would give the Chiefs/Broncos/20+teams an upgrade at QB.

5 years ago maybe...

Like I said, its not without risk. Romo has clearly demonstrated health issues in recent years. However, 2 years ago he was an MVP candidate.

Really? In 2014, he was 14th in passing yards - 4th in TDs. Maybe there was chatter, but I can't believe it was serious.

Romo would be worth going after if only to get Kelce the damn ball. I'd draft Kelce 1.1 in Fantasy.

I hate to say it, but if Denver signs 2 good OL and Romo in FA and then drafts a running back and TE that's worth a damn, I'd be concerned about KCs chances of making the playoffs next year.

Elway sucks, so don't see it

Rotoworld thinks Tigeruppercut is a dipshit too.

NFL Network's James Palmer reports the Chiefs are not interested in Tony Romo.

The Chiefs have force-fed the media about how committed they remain to Alex Smith for 2017. As foolishly as it sounds, it appears coach Andy Reid is again ready to tie his horses to Smith for another season only to likely see another too-soon playoffs exit. The Chiefs have arguably the best top-to-bottom roster in the league, but it's being sunk down to Smith's level, and he's been unable to take his game to new heights. Romo appears destined for Denver or Houston.

I would take 14th in yards and 4th in tds everyday of the week. KC gets a ring with that production.

That reads like beautiful poetry. Beautiful, truthy, poetry.

Dead on perfect. We are doomed for another season. Andy and Dorsey should be ashamed of themselves.

BigCatDaddy 03-07-2017 06:24 PM

A "we want Romo" chant in AH would be epic.
