At least we know this much...

There will be deals done before the deadline to shore up the defense.

The question is who(m) does Veach gamble on?

Arizona defenders?

The G-Men?

Who else is out there?

If not, we can only hope that we make the playoffs purely on Patrick's arm, and that never ends well.

Peterson would be my call personally. UNLESS, Berry's situation is worse than being led on. Then what, Texans Matheau?

What say you?

Texans won again today, they probably feel they are in contention.

Texans are not trading Honey Badger. They are 3-3 now and tied for the division lead. If they had lost the last two weeks, sure, they would be looking to move him.

Arizona is the best bet for a trading partner at this point.

Get an inside linebacker that can cover, makes good reads, take good angles and most important of all can TACKLE. That would be my first start. Ragland is terrible and can do that if his life depended on it.

Get a safety that can play in the box and help out in run support and can TACKLE. I would try to go for Landon Collins or something.

do you bring DJ back as insurance? i joke, but seriously? i say no, but could it be worse? :D

I dont think Berry plays this year. Hope Im wrong. If he does play, who knows if he’ll be the same?

bevischief 10-15-2018 12:22 AM

The Chiefs don't have fiber in their diets.

He's had 8 weeks for his non-Achilles heel to respond to best-in-the-world therapy.

It's a pain management issue...so shoot that thing with mild meds or retire and do right by the team that treated you like royalty.

He's going to have to get it fixed in the off-season anyway...so risk it or quit taking a roster spot. It's 21 games now...

What is plan here...have him sit all season then shoot it up for the post-season? Have him on the sidelines every week so Chunt doesn't look like a fool?

I'm assuming since KC had Sorenson go on IR so early...it limited them from placing Berry there too. He wouldn't be able to come back for the post-season...so they are just waiting.

Surgery has minimal results since it starts to grow back almost immediately.

Pain management is the best option.
