Josh Allen is NOT a tier one QB.
 

He is not in the top tier. Pretty clear the top tier is just Mahomes and Burrow.

Probably, but when Allen is on he’s in that tier. Perhaps losing Daboll hurt his development. Looks that way.

It has nothing to do with play calling. He is not capable of making the big play in a big game when absolutely needed. Has proven so the past 3 seasons.

I’d like to see Burrow’s cap hit and he doesn’t have the best receiving duo in football to decide if he is in the same tier as Mahomes. He’s second best for sure, but there are levels to this. Burrow is closer to Herbert/Allen than he is to Mahomes.

Last year's Josh Allen is. The only thing you can really point to is his elbow.

Josh is a taller, less crazy Jeff George or a white Cam Newton.

Man, there's nothing wrong with respecting your rival.

Burrow is still on his rookie deal, and that's true.

But Mahomes couldn't beat him in two tries with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

And couldn't beat him earlier this year.

I'm not saying we can't win this game-but I think Burrow has earned respect. Herbert has done nothing, no signature wins, and a .500 record. That's not even close to a decent comp.

Allen? Hasn't beat Burrow. Neither has Mahomes, in three tries.

Give the respect where it's due and let's go beat his ass!

I was about today, he made every damn play he had the opportunity to in the 13 second game.

He had a bad season by his standards but I still would say he is tier 1.
