This makes me very sad, but I won't give TMZ a click.

That sucks. RIP

I’d put ‘League of our Own’ in my list of greatest sports films. No doubt.

This. One of my fav movies as a kid. So was "Big".

alpha_omega 12-18-2018 01:17 PM

One of the celebrities that i have actually met in life.

RIP

"Big" is a classic. She did the voice of the crazy babysitter in the very first episode of the Simpsons.

I was a little too young for the connection between 'Meathead' and Rob Reiner the great director to register.

Penny was one of the first people I saw on a TV screen, then went to watch her movies.

Before Penny, I think my young mind thought that directing was something you needed a degree, or an apprenticeship, or some special license, to do.

Of course, nowadays every actor leaps behind the camera at their first opportunity.

I very much respect and support your stand.

As for Penny, well...

Nothin's gonna turn her back now
Straight ahead and on the track now
She's gonna make her death come true...
Doin' it her way

Bring her in at DC. Better than Gramps.

me too.
once I saw Fred do that impersonation of her the first time, I can never NOT think of it any time Marshall's name comes up.

Turns out, Shirley WAS hot. Though at the time I couldn't conceive of anyone with a short haircut like hers being hot.

That was a 'mom' hairdo when I was a kid. And it's not like all their slouchy, zany antics were optimized for attractiveness. They were goofy sitcom gals. It's like arguing whether Balky was hotter than Cousin Larry.

Cindy Williams' attractiveness didn't register until I finally saw American Graffiti in college.

But Laverne had a rockin bod. Look up the clip of her and Carrie Fisher as Playboy Bunnies from the show.
