We're all idiots, but let's talk Nick Foles compensatory pick.

I have a repository of the picks the Chiefs probably have that I'll now have to update.

We traded for Fuller and an additional 3rd.

Secondly, the Foles pick, once projected as a 6th (or a 5th with meaningful playing time) by Over the Cap, now may be worth as much as a 3rd.

Bullet to your head, how much do you think Foles nets us?

bigjosh 02-05-2018 01:58 PM

Fifth. No way its upgraded to a third

If the Packers are only expected to get a 5th for J.C. Tretter, a guy who played 100% of the snaps and makes around $5.5M per year, I have hard time imagining Foles, with his 800 fewer snaps and $5.5M dollar salary, netting a larger comp pick.

TambaBerry 02-05-2018 02:48 PM

i think a 4th

J.C. Tretter wasn't the SB MVP..

Is that enough to make up for Foles' 800 fewer snaps?

Seeing how that's by far the ultimate goal for any player ever yes yes it should be

kccrow 02-05-2018 07:40 PM

5th. He was a bubble guy at 5 v 6. It's probably going to be a 5th now. That's' as far as that wheel rolls.

What would the Browns be without JC Tretter?

What would the Eagles be without Nick Foles?

DaneMcCloud 02-05-2018 08:17 PM

The Chiefs received 4 Comp Picks in 2017 for Jeff Allen, Donald Stephenson, Tyvon Branch and Sean Smith.

A 3rd, 5th and two 6th's.

Surely, Foles is worth at least a 4th.

It's a formula, it doesn't care what position you play.

As far as I know it mostly cares about how many players a team signed/lost, how much $ those players signed for, and how many snaps they played.

Hey Butt****, you're only referring to the Regular Season, which included an absolutely meaningless Week 17 game.

Foles appeared in 3 Post Season games, including the Super Bowl, so add at least another 210 snap counts to that total.

Also, try using your own brain for once instead parrotting all of the Bronco homers you blow every day.

BryanBusby 02-05-2018 08:22 PM

You have no idea exactly how the formula is weighted, you dingus. Some guy on twitter has no idea how to break down a method that escapes people that work for teams.

**** off already

You don't know dick and you clearly don't know how many snap Foles played in 7 games this season.

Sit down and shut the **** up.

Hey butt****, I'm not. Check it out for yourself you butt****ing moron...

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/snapcounts

SB 52 is the ONLY game missing from their snap count data, so add another 60-70 snaps to Foles' 212 snaps
