The Problem With Jon Stewart
This show has been a step below the heat seeking missiles that Jon Oliver, Samantha Bee, or even Hasan Minhaj's underrated Netflix show were (or Amber Ruffin's show now is).
But as a person who's basically grown up watching Stewart on The Daily Show, it's basically a warm sweater you've always worn. It's great to see him back in action, if not at the top of his game. That being said, he's had some standout moments, particularly when he gets away from comedy and gets into the political activism that defined his time working for 9/11 responders: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BzEgIm9-Yk4" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Anybody else catching this show? For the most part, I've just watched it on YouTube as I do not have Apple+. |
Meh, he was dogging the woke folk not that long ago, but now seems to be sucking up to them. No use for him.

Ah I remember The Daily Show.
Was the last time Stephen Colbert was funny. |

All of those shows suck.
