At some point I wonder when allegations are going to become weaponized. Want someone's job? Just accuse them.

I'm not saying this isn't a legitimate complaint, and it wouldn't be shocking at all if a bunch of football players become uncivilized in a group, but I do worry about weaponizing this phenomenon.

Hammock Parties 12-11-2017 10:28 PM

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ive-ex-players

Quote:

A former executive producer at the National Football League’s TV network and ex-players including Marshall Faulk and Heath Evans allegedly groped and made sexually explicit comments to female colleague Jami Cantor, according to an amended complaint by Cantor, a former employee.

Cantor, a wardrobe stylist at the NFL Network, said Weinberger sent “several nude pictures of himself and sexually explicit texts” and told her she was “put on earth to pleasure me.” He also pressed his crotch against Cantor’s shoulder and asked her to touch it, according to the complaint.

She said she was also sexually harassed by on-air talent. Faulk, who’s an NFL Network analyst, would ask Cantor “deeply personal and invasive questions” about her sex life and fondled her breasts and groped her behind, according to the complaint.

Ike Taylor, also an analyst, sent Cantor “sexually inappropriate” pictures of himself and a video of him masturbating in the shower, according to the filing. Donovan McNabb, a former analyst, also texted her explicit comments, according to the compliant.

Why is Eric Weinberger the only one tagged? Is it because Scott Soshnick is afraid of the NFL players, or is Eric the accuser?

I would hope neither one. Warner has a lovely wife, and Eisen has built his entire name off NFLN.

When everyone is accused at the same time, I smell a money grab from some bitch who's pissed at the company itself.

Especially ex employee.

An ex Target employee murdered and lived in my grandmothers home for days in Kansas City after shooting in the mall as well that same day. Remember the ward parkway mall shooting? He was angry that he was fired and he took it out on my older grandmother a decade ago. People do psychotic shit.

Pics don't lie...

pugsnotdrugs19 12-11-2017 11:02 PM

This stuff is getting so out of hand. I'm sure some of them are actually harassed and victimized, but the problem nowadays is everyone is guilty until proven innocent, and not innocent until proven guilty.

wazu 12-11-2017 11:03 PM

Don't get all of the assumptions that it's bullshit. Seems to me that with the majority of these accusations, we end up hearing an apology or acknowledgment of some kind. She's even claiming she was sent nude pics from one, which would seem to be easily verifiable.

It might very well be true, but I just get kinda annoyed and pissed off with the fact that they wait until now to say something. Now that they know there will be serious attention paid, and money to be made, everyone wants to come out with their story.

My view is, if it wasn't bad enough to get you to complain in the first place, shut the **** up. For all we know, the woman didn't mind it at the time but decided to make it seem that way now due to all of the press she knows it would receive.

'Hamas' Jenkins 12-11-2017 11:09 PM

I understand withholding judgment until more information is in and not assuming that these guys are automatically guilty. At the same time, don't assume that the accuser is lying simply because more of this is becoming known. Generally, these dams break, they don't leak. Look at what happened with the Catholic Church. The volume of accusations was phenomenal, but they were also true. Just because they exploded in quick fashion doesn't make it false and/or a money grab.

That's what this one smells like. I don't think all of these cases are like that, especially the Weinstein/Hollywood stuff. But this story smells a lot like a form of bitter revenge.

Geno Smith did it and I have a bigger dick than him. Same for Brett Favre.

Yet Teddy Bridgewater has never been caught sending a dick pic.

And do you have statistics on how often these accusations are falsified? No one is saying that you have to believe it, but you've taken the opposite approach of automatically assuming that it's false, so you're really no different than someone immediately running out with a pitchfork, your reaction is just in the opposite direction.

I think most women are coming forward now because they are seeing things done now. I don't blame any woman for not having the confidence right away to come forward and accuse the people she likely works for. It seems like a pretty delicate situation.

I'm neutral towards it. The story is a woman accused 6 or so men from her former employment at NFLN of sexual harassment.

I don't believe her until I see proof of the whole staff doing the things she'll be claiming. It's words. No physical proof that I've seen yet.

Although, knowing Warren Sapp the way we do, if he's indeed involved in it, then I'm not surprised. He's had that kind of past.

I suppose it's possible. I actually think what she said is probably all true, I just question how she felt about it at the time. That's an awful lot of dudes targeting this woman sexually within one work place. If she was spooked by it very much or really didn't like it, I feel like they wouldn't all be so aggressive with her.

Guess time will tell.

Except this one place employs a lot of ex-sporto meatheads with inflated egos...Ike/Evans arent exactly enlightened human beings. I believe the allegations...just an extension of when Manning ran his balls across that woman's face then ruined her career.

I would have feared being blacklisted, too, if I were her...

KCrockaholic 12-11-2017 11:49 PM

I could see Ike Taylor missing some of the throw themselves at you glory days girls, and then trying to find a girl at NFLN who was DTF, but that's typical. If ALLLL those guys who work there were trying to get it in her, that means she was also giving off some major flirty vibes. I just don't buy it until I hear more. I'd be willing to bet somebody did something, but not everyone who was listed.

If you're referring to the story about my Gma, yes. And it was insane to have to go to the house after everything happened and still see blood stains and that smell everywhere. The authorities left it to my family to clean up the mess in that house. It was disgusting. It's more of my grandfather that I felt horrible for. He's a great man and never deserved to have to go through that.

The entire scene at the house was disturbing. You could see where she was killed in the kitchen as well as where he liked to hang out and smoke and drink his beers he left behind after he'd broken in and stayed for 3 days.

Living separated. She lived alone, and the man who did this was her next door neighbor and he knew that fact before he did everything. He was shot to death by police I believe. It's been a while, but if you google "kansas city mall shooting 2007" then you can read any details about his incident at the mall. I just so happen to know the full backstory which wasn't really reported very well by news outlets.

Jami Cantor: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Quote:

Cantor alleges that Faulk, the former running back for the St. Louis Rams, asked her “deeply personal and invasive questions” about her sex life on numerous occasions. She claims that Faulk asked her what her favorite sex position was, whether she was into oral sex and if she dated black men. She also accused Faulk in the lawsuit of fondling her breasts and groping her butt.

“Instead of saying good morning, Mr. Faulk greeted (Cantor) by fondling her breasts and groping her behind,” the lasuire said. “As time went on, Mr. Faulk became more aggressive, such as inviting (Cantor) to his hotel room, stroking and pulling out his genitals in front of her, pointing to his crotch and asking Plaintiff, ‘when are you gonna get on this already?'” the lawsuit said. “He also pinned (Cantor) against a wall, demanding oral sex while he pulled his pants down.”
Quote:

She said in her lawsuit that Evans made several comments to her, including him saying that he “needed to get in (Cantor) deep and hard.”
Quote:

She said that Davis said various other sexually-explicit comments, including things like: “I want you so bad,” “my cock is so hard because of you right now” and “you look like you would be an animal in the sheets.”

“I can’t handle your (butt), it is so luscious,” Cantor claimed that a text message sent to her from Davis said.

Cantor said that on at least one occasion, Davis said that he wanted to “choke” her from behind until she “begged him to stop.”
Quote:

McNabb, who most notably played quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, is accused in the suit of texting her explicit comments. Those include him allegedly asking her if she “was a squirter” and asking her to “CUM to dinner with him,” among other things.
Quote:

Sapp, who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was fired from the network for soliciting a prostitute in 2015, is accused of coming into the bathroom as Cantor was preparing a wardrobe and urinating in front of her despite her telling him to get out. According to the lawsuit, Sapp replied to Cantor: “Sorry mama, but your office shouldn’t be our shitter.”

Send a picture? I can't even take one. My unit won't fit in the lens on most smartphones.

McNabb, who most notably played quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, is accused in the suit of texting her explicit comments. Those include him allegedly asking her if she “was a squirter” and asking her to “CUM to dinner with him,” among other things.

Good gravy.

I guess I just missed the memo that taking dick pics and sending them to women who apparently aren't interested woudl possibly change their mind.

Do some guys not realize women get to see all the dicks they want to see whenever they want? All they have to do is basically ask. This isn't exactly providing a service they are in desperate need of.
