Chad Reuter 3 round mock

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ray-to-broncos

Reuter (NFL.com Draft analyst) has the Chiefs going with:

1) #29 - Jachai Polite - EDGE -Florida
2) #61 - Rock Ya Sin -Corner -Temple
2) #63 - Juan Thornhill - Safety - Virginia
3) #92 - Darrell Henderson -RB - Memphis

* Jaylon Ferguson and Byron Murphy still on the board at the Chiefs pick #29 in his mock...

I could live with this mind you.

That's a monster first three picks. That's about as close to an A+ draft as we could get from the 30th pick.

If we snag Polite I assume that means we tag/trade Dee Ford and are spending some cap space on a cornerback or safety...so Rock Ya Sin or Juan Thornhill both get some time to sit and learn.

Not a fan of Polite, but love the rest of that draft.

Give me Ferguson or Murphy.

YES.

Raiders get two guys that would look good in Red.

Polite doesn't really fit well in a 4-3. Prefer Ferguson. Ya-Sin is talented but looks a bit slow. I'm not sure about him really. I love Thornhill but I'm beginning to think he doesn't make it out of the first 15 picks of round 2. Hell, with his talent and ball skills he's gonna go round 1 if he runs really well.

Agreed.

Ferguson pops off tape and appears more “quick twitch” where Polite is a more traditional power edge disruptor. Ya-Sin had a solid Sr. Bowl but he will likely be an average tester. I really like Thornhill’s tape but reports out of the Sr. Bowl alluded to him having a bit of trouble diagnosing route combos/patterns and not reacting as quickly as scouts would have liked. He is fun to watch however - no hesitation when he commits to a play.

Agree. B. Murphy or D. Baker at 29 to be sure. Starting CB on a 5 yr (4 yr w/5th yr option), 29th slot rookie contract? YAAASSSSS!

Know we know Veach's tendency to obsess over prospects, the real question which one he favors the most to trade up for like Speaks and Nnadi in the 2nd and 3rd round. Then there's Kahlil McKenzie in the 6th too.

Andy has said that Veach "wears him out" when Brett is sold on a draft prospect
