Oh great. What's the difficulty level on replacement with the 3.7?

I don't think they are terribly bad. I think it might have a stupid shield that bolts to it . Make sure you put that back on

Actually, with the corrosion issues due to the Corp of Engineers leaving it parked in a river or whatever the **** they did to it, I'm sure it's going to be a giant pain in the ass. i'd better start spraying it down with PB Blaster now.

Back in the day with carburetors and what not it was a thing, not so much now.

In extremely cold environments, block heaters are used, but I seriously don't think you are going to have a problem.

If wind chills hit 50 below like they're predicting here, cars aren't going to start. It's that simple.

What are those for? Heat? I know that when I had my Corvette (73) a lot of guys had problems with the heat off of their headers frying starter motors, so they would put a heat shield around them. I never had a problem as I went to a mini starter on mine when I did the engine swap. Saved a buttload of weight too. Damn, those old SBC starters are HUGE.

Thank God I've got a garage.

Also, thank God my office closed Wednesday, when the predicted high in Chicago is supposed to be -15 with wind chills of -50 or worse. I'd like to think my car would start after sitting out in that shit all day, but I'd also just as soon not know.

First time in my life that a place I work has closed on account of low temperatures.

Only if they come with your parka rated at -40, facemask and long underwear . Kid at NDSU is excited that Wednesdays temp will be up to -25F

Possible wind chills of -55 to -60F
edit-just got a text that NDSU cancelled classes for Tuesday.

Yes.

And don't forget a roll of your favorite ass wipes.

And that's all you'll need.

Dude, that sucks. It's going to be colder than Antarctica in Fargo tomorrow.

I’m traveling for the next 5 days for work. One day in Fargo, one day in Benson Minnesota, one day in Racine Wisconsin, one day in Burlington Iowa, and one day in Saskatoon Canada. It’s going to be frigid at every stop.
