You want me to pick the biggest impact player from the Chiefs top 4 this year? I can do THAT, and I'll kick everyone else's asses doing it!

But with the Chiefs new MO's, there's no way in HELL I'm jumping in to trying to predict their minds on draft day.

Sorry to bring this thread back up, but I wanted to clarify this.

The draft challenge would be nothing more than you making the pick for the chiefs. It has nothing to do with what the chiefs do. It's who you would pick.
We start a thread on draft day, and while the chiefs are on the clock you make your pick of the available players. It's as simple as that. Then we can see who's picks bust, and who's pick excell. I know that none of the draft gurus will do it though. because they never like to be held to their picks. They like to come back later, and say how dumb the chiefs picks were, but won't make a record of who they would have picked.

I will take Wichita if no one else does.

When are we going to start judging these picks though? If I take Sanchez or Stafford at 3rd overall, and they don't start with their respective teams???
Not everybody are the Chiefs, who are going to start Brandon Flowers in week one against the Pats, yes?

You may have to wait a while to brag about your pick. It may be that way with any pick, but if he does turn into a stud, or flop, we'll know. We're gonna be here for years, No?

True enough.

I'm surprised some of the more knowledgeable people on here haven't signed up.

Maybe some of them don't have the time, but considering how much time they spend talking about football I can't comprehend there being disinterest.

Have some balls. It's a game. Have some fun with it.

Without the instant gratification, it kinda' loses a lot of appeal.

This is not what the rules say.

It will be conducted post-draft, and we will have the benefit of knowing the entire draft and who will be available at later selections.

Unfortunate, but more practical than doing it during the draft.

I read your post. I still have no idea what we're doing.

After the draft we all say who we would have taken in the Chiefs' spots. You do this every year and build your own unique team over the coming years.

That's really all you need to know.

So basically, we cherry pick anyone who has declared? What happens if your late-late round guys get put out on the waiver wire?
