I guess playoff Sammy will have to wait...

Disappointing but expected re Watkins. Hardman, Robinson, and pringle need to step up.

Still doubt CEH plays this week. Probably next. We'll get the Bell, Williams, and Thompson experience.

Hammy is just too unreliable to sustain.

Im skeptical about "calf" injuries that take this long. They're almost always achilles related it seems. I dont think we see Sammy till the SB if we make it that far.

If it was a bad strain, 3 weeks isn’t too surprising.

But IIRC, the initial report was it wasn’t that serious and he should be ready for the playoffs.

Exactly. Meanwhile, Sammy "made of glass" Watkins hurts his calf, which was supposedly "Not considered serious" and he can't go. Can KC be done with that guy already? He renegotiated his contract in order to stay, and he's still way overpaid.

Was watching the 2018 Chiefs at Browns game on NFL Network for a bit last night and within minutes of turning on the game Watkins goes down with a foot injury. Guy barely even got hit. Time.To.Move.On!

DRob and Hardman have been unimpressive this season. Hardman has about the same yards as last season, but with 15 more targets and 20 more completions this year. So, his YPC are way down. Last year, he had 4 40+ yard plays. This year, he's had 1, which occurred in week 3 against the Ravens. DRob is about the same guy he was last year, but his YPC are also down and he's ****ing knucklehead.

Sammy's numbers just keep getting more and more pedestrian every year. He has games where he's shines a lot, but then disappears and/or is injured. Completely unreliable. He was HUGE in the Playoffs last year, but was damn near invisible in the 7 games leading up to the Playoffs . In those last 7 reg season games, he only had one game over 50 yards receiving zero TD's. In his last seven games he played this year, he had 2 games over 50 yards and 1 TD. Those numbers are all pretty replaceable. I mean, if we could have healthy/productive Playoff Sammy Watkins, then hell yeah, sign me up again. But, if he's missing Playoff Games....yeah, it's time to go!

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the fact that he is already out and not a game time decision makes me think it's really bothering him.

Watkins tried to play through his foot injury early in his career and it caused more damage and he had issues with it for several years.

After that he became a guy that doesn't play through injuries, if it doesn't feel right he doesn't go.

They've had three gameless weeks to practice his absence

Fenton was hurt during the Chargers game both of his ankles.

I do worry about the fact that our offense always seems to struggle a bit when Sammy isn't out there, but SURELY we can handle the Browns without him.

I hope they don't have this mindset going into this game, we need to rip some faces off heh

I went to bat for Watkins because he’s so ****ing good. But my caveat was if he can’t be around for the playoffs he’s totally worthless.

I don't think there's a chance in hell that he's going to earn his incentives, so he'd better enjoy that last $8 million dollar payday because he's never seeing that type of money, ever again.

I'm really wanting to see what Pringle can do with an expanded role. He SEEMS to be physical in the run game, and this season anyway he's not had a problem with the dropsies in his limited chances as Robinson has.

His history is what it is, how much benefit of the doubt is he due at this point?

At best he is sandbagging, holding himself out to get at whatever he considers 100% so he can have a big game in the biggest moment

And if its not that, then he's just a straight up walking talking injury waiting to happen who we need to move on from... either way its time to cast an eye towards his replacement

**** King Broke Dick Watkins! Hopefully Pringle gets his snaps. I don’t trust Robinson after the Houston playoff game last and he’s fumble prone the way he totes the ball.

Amazing that CEH might play Sunday just about a month after having his leg almost snapped in half while Brokedick Sammy seemingly makes a minimal effort to get back on the field after three weeks of nursing a minor calf injury.

We knew what we were getting into bringing Sammy back. No sense bitching about it. Game changer if healthy, he just rarely is.

He's the Robert Smith of receivers.

In any case, we should not need sammy to defeat the browns. If the browns win, it wont be because sammy didn't play.

I like Pringle, maybe he can use this opp to shine in the playoffs!
