Looking to get a tattoo...

I’m thinking on maybe

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...396693b94b.jpg

Or doing a creative one such as chiefs Legends watching this team win its first championship in 50 years

All ideas welcome, I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s been thinking of a champ stamp lol.

The reason for the Kelce pic is because I think that’s when the fans knew after that TD run by Mahomes that the weight has been lifted.

A downward pointing KC Chiefs arrowhead in the center of your chest

Beef Supreme 02-08-2020 07:28 PM

Do a logo or a Lombardi trophy or feathers, or anything other than getting a tattoo of another dude.

I always promised myself that if the Chiefs ever won the Super Bowl I'd get a Chiefs tattoo. And now they have.

In an age where it seems even children have tattoos it's certainly not a big deal. I'm just trying to get past the ridiculousness of getting my first tattoo in my mid-50s. Seems kind of silly at this point. But I may still do it anyway.

I have three tattoos. All are small marks on the inside of my fingers that people would think are ink smudges. All represent something personal to me, and when I look at them, I'm reminded.

You don't need an Arrowhead or some life-size Mahomes image to live up to your promise.

As to the OP, that image of Kelce is my favorite of the entire season. Pure, unadulterated joy after that TD run. I love it.

Same here and my wife as well. I've been thinking about it and I think I'd like something like this. It's a bit crude, but I like the general idea. I can also add Roman numerals for any future CB wins.

If you're going to get a permanent marking on your body per a tatoo, my suggestion is to join the a branch of the service in the US, get jump qualified, and get an airborne tatoo at worst (make it worthwhile).

Getting a tat of a sports team on your body screams looser at best. Getting a tat of a womans name other than the name being noted you mother in some aspect screams just being plain stupid.

See above post of mine. If you're not combat arms (no clue how the Navy classifies MOS's), at least do a USN tat of some sort. To me, they (USN) are more worthey of any sports team you don't have control over.

Nothing is worth fighting over the internet per written words.

As someone else here other than myself pointed out, getting the accomplishments of other men tattooed on your body is lame unless perhaps it's a loved one / family member who died fighting.

My only suggestions,
1. Put it someplace that’s easy to cover up should the need or want to do so arise.
2. Make sure it’s (the design) what you really want. I would think on it longer than a week. I have friends that regret theirs (not the choice to get one but rather the option/design selected).

I understand about the regret part. I was poised to get one at a place in Toulon back when I was in the Navy. A crusty old ex-enlisted LDO talked me out of it, for that very reason. Said he had tattoos all over his body and he hated it. The funny thing is, I'd have just gotten some Navy-themed tat, like a ship or an anchor; nothing obscene or offensive, and now, 30+ years later, nobody would give two shits about it. I work at a Chicago law firm, and there are several people there with visible tattoos. No one cares. At all. And I don't care if people don't like it. Least of all some dumb**** Iggles troll who would probably spell "cat" with a K.

We have our condo on the market and met with our realtor who we worked with when we relocated to Chicago 5 years ago. We've gotten know each other better since and while he likes to have some beers on occasion he's always super professional and a successful realtor in the city. We were having a drink after a showing last week when he admitted to having a tattoo of a heart with a rose and some Chinese (he thinks) lettering on his ass that he got off ship in Asia while in the Navy during the 90s. Lol he has no idea what the lettering says and has no recollection of getting the tat.

I was still laughing hard about it the next morning because you'd never expect this dude to have a story like that LMAO

Heh. I did some massively dumb**** things when I was young and deployed, but nothing that ever caused any permanent damage.

Heading out for my appointment in about half an hour. I am a bit nervous. I can't imagine a professional would **** up something as simple as a team logo, but this isn't something that can be taken back.
