I'm slightly worried about that. I am comforted by the fact that Gruden's only handpicked guy was Chris Simms. And Gruden almost killed him - as in his life almost ended, but definitely killed his career.

QB purgatory is the worst place to be. You either need to know that you have an elite QB or know that you need one. Being stuck in that middle ground ****ing sucks.

You can waste a lot of time, money, and picks attempting to build around a QB who is just okay.

Exactly. They will move on from Carr who is average at best but will they actually upgrade or upgrade enough. probably not.

Carr is like Alex except not as good. You could win a lot of regular season games with a QB like that if your good to great everywhere else. Also known as doing it the hard way.
