Sound bars

Looking for a solid sound bar for a 14x20 listening space. Getting rid of our 5 speaker surround system to simplify our room. Would love some recommendations.

Got my eye on a couple $400 Samsung units.

Anything else in that range I should look into?

I've got a Vizio soundbar the precise model type escapes me at the moment. Does the job for the small space that I've got my TV set up in and haven't had too many negative experiences with it.

I too have a Vizio soundbar and I love it.

Vizio here too. It does OK. But my kids are small so I don’t listen to anything at all very loud.

Model numbers is what I need

Man, **** if I know. The better one is a 36" one with a bass. I guess it's been a hell of a long time since I bought it.

I bought this one last year.

VIZIO SB2920-C6 29-Inch 2.0 Channel Sound Bar

It's smaller with no sub, it's not as good, but it fills a pretty giant ass room pretty well.

Thanks. Vizio has such a wide variety and I don't want to skrimp on this. Planning on at least a 3 channel system. One of the ones above is a 5.1 that sounded pretty darn good.

Yeah, you're going to want to do better than that one.

I have the Vizio SB3621N-E8. Really nice sound for a really good price.

i have an older version of this soundbar. In my opinion JBL makes some of the best speakers

We have a Sonos Beam. It sounds good, but I am having issues with the ARC control and my tv.

I have this one and I love it. I've had much more expensive sound bars when I cared a lot more about how much things cost over how they functioned and this sounds much better than the price point. I use it for my record player and my home theater.

allows control of soundbar using TV remote via HDMI. My issue has arisen that it no longer changes the tv volume, though the numbers change. I haven't had time to troubleshoot it though, I assume it just needs reset.

Sonos is is coming out with a Beam that has google assistant. That’s the one I’m waiting for.

Meantime though Sonos is giving some good deals right now. If you don’t know them here’s a blurb:

I’ve had two vizio sound bars. They work great until they don’t. Each one lasted about 3 years and then stopped turning on, not sure what happened. Last purchase was the bose one home thing. It is a little bigger than a sound bar, sounds great and has lasted for 3 years. I hope I’m not jynxing it.

I’ve been preparing to spend money on the whole home sonos. I’ll keep the bose speaker for one of the tv’s.

I actually did listen to the Sonos Beam since it was right next to the Samsung MS650 one I was testing. I honestly felt the Samsung had a richer more complete sound than the Sonos Beam.

Don't get a Bose one. I have one of those and it's not any better than my TV really. My girlfriend got a Samsung one that wasn't even more expensive than mine and it sounds waaaay better.

I dont have any experience with these but reviews look pretty good and price is one of the lowest its ever been. As for Adorama I have ordered lots of gear from them they are legit.

If that's what your ear likes then yeah, do what makes sense for you.
Sonos offers more functionality and a lot more add-on and whole home options but I'm a fan of Samsung tech for sure.
