What play do you see happening on Saturday
NOTICE: This is a positive vibes only thread. No negative bulljive doo-doo beyond this post. This thread is here for pro-Chiefs thoughts only. If you do not want to oblige, I shall direct you here —> https://youtu.be/oxxyqBz91rk
Now, here is the objective. I want you to imagine your favorite possible play for this Saturday’s game that you believe is actually going to occur. So visualize the play, and jot it down in your response. It’ll be fun to see who correctly makes predictions. I’ll go first. The play that I see happening on Saturday is.... Eric Berry, guided by his spirit and impeccable awareness, intercepts Andrew Luck to set up a Chiefs touchdown. Now go! |
think good thoughts
My new mantra. If you have not guessed yet. |
SUTTON'S D getting 3 pick 6's!
|
Opening Drive: Sammy Watkins catches a first down on a deep cross, putting everybody on notice that he is BACK.
|
I see a Justin Houston strip sack fumble touchdown interception field goal 2 point conversion on-side kick first down fourth down stop pick-6.
|
Mahomes taking a snap in the victory formation
|
|
Mahomes holds Malik Hooker with his eyes while he throws a deep TD to Hill over the top
|
|
Kelce deep cross for a TD...twice! I think he will have an opportunity for a big game.
|
time clock in the 4th quarter ticks down to :00 with a chiefs lead.
|
Two Demetrius Harris TD’s....
|
Marc Boerigter 99 yard TD

Here’s exactly what will happen.
Chiefs- 38 Indy- 17 Our defense knows they’re the laughing stock of defenses this season. They’ll literally light the Colts offense up. Our fans will still continue doubt this team. They will say shit like “Luck doesn’t have the weapons like Rivers has or Luck isn’t in the same league as Brady”. Apparently no matter what team we face, we will hear stupid shit even though we’ll smash Indy. |
Pro set with Hill and Williams in the backfield, Kelce at TE, Watkins and Robinson at WR (right). At the snap Watkins and Robinson run deep routes to draw the safety coverage with Kelce running an option route down the seam. Hill flares left to run the swing route down the sideline. Williams up the middle on a delay for 8 yards, second and 2.......... or Mahomes on a read option for a QB sweep after Hill clears out the LB coverage

Within the game, Justin Houston will turn on the jets in this game, recording at least one strip sack with fumble recovery. I'm envisioning Chris Jones running the fumble back for one of our many touchdowns. |
Misdirection shovel pass that nets fewer than 4 yards.

Tampa 2 with both safeties playing deep? I think I know...

Nice job by the Chiefs using misdirection via the Jet Sweep "Touch Pass" against the Chargers. A Special Teams TD.
Eric Berry pick 6. |
Dee Ford has the game of his life and ties DT's single game sack record. His 7th sack is a strip sack at the Chiefs 10 with the score 37-33 Chiefs with 30 seconds left. Prior to the sack, Luck had moved the ball down the field at will and it looked like the Colts were going to win. But then, the sack happened. Berry scooped up the fumble and returned it to the Colts end zone as time expired. Chiefs win 44-33.

We have not ran on the first play of the game a play action double move by Hill and Mahomes hitting him for a 75 yard TD. That’s the way to open this game.
|
D Williams run right up the gut.
|
Jones sacks caveman and jones winkie makes contact. Kinda like at the combine. Been waiting for that to happen in a game. Happening to the squire would be nice. He is so goofy.

Travis Kelce 69 yard touchdown catch and the celebration is that chick on the horse sucking his dick on the field.
|
A Colts Punt.
|
I want a play action pass deep to hill for a td and then a strip sack by houston. Also a pass to sherman for a score.
|
Chris Jones and Houston hit Luck so hard he momentarily contemplates a career as an architect.
|
Defense forces punt, which is subsequently returned for TD by Reek.

A deep curl route to Watkins along the left sideline, he makes two guys miss and takes it 70 yards to the house to put us in the lead with 30 seconds left. Berry picks off Luck at the end to seal it. Chiefs win 42-38

I see the colts and chiefs putting 11 guys out there and something happens.
|
Been awhile since Tyreek returned a punt for a TD...
|
3rd and 12
Draw play to D. Williams for 1.5 yards Punt Oh damn, I was having flashbacks. Let me try again: 3rd and 12 Mahomes evades pressure by stepping up in the pocket. Then he gets flushed left, then he gets chased and ends up sprinting to the right sideline. He spots Hill sprinting open to the right sideline about 15 yards down the field. Mahomes rears back to throw...AND THE THROW ENDS up going across his body with a no look pass over the middle to Kelce for a gain of 43! TOUCH DOWN KAN SAS CITY (Mitch Holthus voice)!!! |
Late in the 4th quarter, Chiefs up 33-27. Colts driving to the KC 15 with about 1:30 on the clock.
4th and 7, Andrew Luck drops back to pass and throws over the middle towards TY Hilton. From the side of the screen we catch a glimpse of something streaking towards Hilton. As the previously unidentified flying object comes closer into view, we see Eric Berry in the midst of a perfect cartwheel, just between the ball and TY. As Hilton's outstretched fingers reach to grasp the catch, the Haglund deformity on Eric's heel grazes the laces of the pigskin and sends it spiraling downwards to the turf, incomplete. The fans rejoice in a raucous uproar, our destiny is complete. The very injury we've all cursed the past four months sends us to the AFC championship game. It was Andy Reid and Eric Berry's plan all along. When Berry said his spirit wasn't feeling it, he really meant his heel wasn't the correct shape to block the upcoming pass. After the Super Bowl, Berry's heal gets a parade down main street and a spot in the Chiefs ring of honor. |
One of these three things will happen, but only if we are desperate.
1. A flea flicker off a shovel pass 2. A Kelce throw back to Patrick Mahomes for a TD ala the Super Bowl 3. A throw to Eric Fisher ala that Patriots play from the beginning of the year |
RPO to Tyreek on a slant that splits the safeties and goes the distance.
|
Henne, McKenzie and West are sub'd in halfway through the fourth quarter, and Henne takes a knee with 20 seconds left.
|
The crowd causing two consecutive false starts in a row and they only get even louder causing them to throw a pick right into fullers arms for 6.

Well, it'll be some kind of shovel pass that goes backwards, then. |
I’m calling a pass play. We will see one of those for sure.
|
Well, because of the Haglund, I’m changing my pick. Not because I’m certain Berry won’t play, but because it’s not certain at all.
The new pick: Chris Jones spins Quenton Nelson around en route to a critical monster sack on Andrew Luck. Chiefs by 10+. |

I've been a little bit (okay, a LOT) worried about this game until I watched the replay of the Patriots vs Chiefs. What it indicated to me is that in every one of the Chiefs losses, the other team has played better than perfect and gotten every possible call.
If Watkins plays, this game is going to be a stomping of epic proportions. Mahomes can overcome Reid's bad tendencies; actually, most of the great plays have been when the play breaks down and Patrick uses his football skills to make something happen. |

Think we will get a blitz play?
