So far the album is generic but very listenable, imho. The autotune makes it sound a little dated but it's not egregious.

I just saw Curtis yesterday with his wife Dee. I told him about this discussion, and that Tamba had a new CD out that used auto tune. "I'll bet you don't do that auto tune stuff, right Curtis?" I asked him. He just grinned. He's a super nice guy. It was great to see him again.

Autotune is a legitimate stylistic choice. It went out of fashion a while ago, but there's nothing inherently bad about using it to achieve a certain aesthetic effect. It wouldn't make sense for Curtis to use it as his genre is totally different. He does sound nice though!!!
