The cool thing about college football is, all the new teams in the playoff each year. you practically can't tell who will be in it, or contending for it. It's so much better tahn March Madness where the same 5-6 blue bloods are always in the Final Four.

IMO to be bowl eligible 2 things must occur.

Must have a winning overall record but you also must have winning record in conf play.

It's ridiculous that teams can play 3-4 non conf games against scrub opponents and then only have to win 2-3 conf games and suddenly you're bowl eligible? That's ridiculous.

But it's all about money, like everything else
