Season's over

Al Bundy 08-27-2017 11:29 AM

2-0 seems like 10-0 with this offense right now.

Deberg_1990 08-27-2017 11:31 AM

No thanks

Bearcat 08-27-2017 11:31 AM

15-0

PHOG 08-27-2017 11:33 AM

 Whoo boy.

Al Bundy 08-27-2017 11:34 AM

**** it.. the Indians are better than the Royals. From the Manager down.

KCUnited 08-27-2017 11:34 AM

Inmen's deck thinks this team is toast.

GloryDayz 08-27-2017 11:37 AM

Why is it that we tend to be hitting teams that are "hot" on such a regular basis since the break? Perhaps it's not that they're as red hot as their series wins might suggest, perhaps more of a relative temperature difference. But hey, we took the series against the Rockies...

The Royals are a hard team to watch since the break. They just seem to have no heart. Perhaps they're beat up and it's affecting their ability to play, but either way it's hard to watch, especially the pitching.

This is silly.

The simple explanation is they are not all that good. They pitching is blah and certainly no where near effective as it was a few years ago. They get almost nothing offensively from the DH and the LF hitters most nights.

Best22 08-27-2017 11:48 AM

Oh well. Atleast we got a ring. Indians haven't won one in 70 years

Just sayin'

The break individually made each/most of them not very good? We get the bad April, but what happened at the break Mr. SillyPants?

And yes, it's both pitching and hitting. But look at Skoglund, playing in the bigs and leaving almost everything up.

As for the batting, that's all the more ridiculous.

And yes, this team is made up of guys who are not very good right now. And they are emotionally fragile evidently.

GloryDayz 08-27-2017 11:58 AM

Wow...

Oh, and another "hot team" comment/excuse...

Wth was skoglund pitching?

Soria and Kennedy are thieves

Atleast Gordon plays defense and had memorable moments (WS Homer)

GloryDayz 08-27-2017 12:04 PM

Well, that's all the more funny...

Al Bundy 08-27-2017 12:04 PM

It will take the Royals 2 ****ing weeks to score 12 runs.

Offense was red hot not to long ago

Problem was our pitching allowed 9 runs per game

Kennedy needs to be cut to send a message

tk13 08-27-2017 12:05 PM

Got them right where we want them. A touchdown and field goal and we're right back in this thing.

No need to go to that extreme. Ned just needs to chew some ass in the dugout and we'll be fine.

One thing this season has done is made it very clear who all the dumbasses around here are.

DM traded away many, many pitchers and got us a World Series in less than 10 years from when he started.

I don't know about you, but i'll give him another go round.

The key is to overreact as much as possible, and I'm not sure your plan does that.

Move the team to St. Louis, they'll support two teams better than KC can support one, and their fans understand the last World Series doesn't mean jack shit compared to the next one.

True. And the Championship is what he was hired for. So that was cool..

Yeah, sometimes it works out and other times it doesn't... welcome to sports. This season is the latter, so fire everyone.

There aren't any.

He's got 3/4 of his roster who can't hit.

And 3/4 of his arms who can't pitch.

Can't blame that on the manager.

ChiefsCountry 08-27-2017 02:29 PM

Ventura getting drunk and dying ruined the pitching staff for this season. Most of the rotation problems would have been avoided this year.

Meh, he tried at least.

If Dayton would have not made any moves at the deadline, everyone would be calling for his head.
