Cavs D still sucks but their offense is on fire in the first half
|
Won't watch till Warriors Cavs 3
|
Let me know who wins.
|
The bigger question is can KCC 'rebound' after his disastrous playoff performance last year
|
Cavs escape with the win. Great start to the playoffs
|
Wow, that's the best you can do against a 7 seed?
Good luck, Cavs. Smelling like frauds. |
Why would the pacers take all 20 second on the clock? Take a shot within 10, if it's a miss, foul and even if they make both, you can tie with a 3.

The Bucks are an interesting young team

It must suck to be up by almost 20 and know it's just a matter of time before you give up that lead and get smacked every step of the way. That's how it feels to play the Spurs and warriors.

Damn prayers goes out to Isaiah Thomas family
Isaiah Thomas' Sister Killed in One-Car Accident in Washington The sister of Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas was killed in a single-car accident Saturday morning in Federal Way, Washington. According to the News Tribune's Craig Sailor, Chyna J. Thomas, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after the 1998 Toyota Camry careened into a barrier after the car drifted into the shoulder. "That vaulted the vehicle head-on into the sign post," State Patrol spokesman Trooper Nick King said, per Sailor. According to Washington State Patrol, Thomas was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. "We are terribly saddened by the tragic loss of Chyna Thomas," the Celtics said in a statement Saturday, according to ESPN.com's Chris Forsberg. "The thoughts and prayers of the entire Celtics organization are with Isaiah and his family." NBA commissioner Adam Silver also released a statement expressing his condolences: Thomas and the Celtics are scheduled to open their first-round playoff series against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at TD Garden. Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe reported members of Thomas' inner circle will head to Boston on Sunday morning to be with the point guard. |
Wait until Kyle Lowry gets back!! -KCC
2/11 4 pts in 33 minutes. Worst playoff FG% among all active players. Posted via Mobile Device |
Not impressed at all with the Cavs win. I really hate that they've evolved into a run and gun offense. Their defense was dreadful. And we're seeing more and more that it's making it really difficult to protect leads. Even worse because they can't seem to hit free throws. They're lucky they have such an easy path in the east. With this defense, Golden State will rain 120+ easy.

LMAO Green stuffed Lillard again.
|
Draymond Green is so, so good.
|
The rest of the league is going to need Draymond to kick somebody in the nuts again because I don't see how this team loses otherwise.
|
Can't believe Isiah Thomas is playing tonight. TNT is showing him sobbing on the bench during warm ups.

That's probably one of the reasons NBA Ratings has sucked this season. Everyone already knows who is going to win it all. Barring a significant injury to one of the Warriors star players the Warriors should win the championship with relative ease. Maybe the Spurs will take them to 6-games but that is probably the closest anyone will come to beating them. Durant took the easy way out. He's a mamma's boy b**ch. |

Damn Celtics

Absolutely blatant missed call there. That was clearly knocked out of bounds by Bradley in every video review, but they still overturned it.
|
Interesting call on that review. Could have went either way. So far all but one of the playoff games have been good this weekend.
|
The Cavs fan in me wanted the Bulls to lose, the Iowa State fan in me wants Fred Hoiberg to do well.

He is so inconsistent in the playoffs and always has been for the last 3,4 years. **** him! |
free Bobby Portis!
cant beliieve trading Taj Gibson and McBuckets made the Bulls better |
LeBron is probably just shaking in fear after seeing those worldbeater Celtics perform tonight as the #1 seed. King hit this prediction right on the mark.

He was key in the Raptors turnaround. He could get them into the playoffs but will never be the guy to lead them to a championship. I think they need to go in another direction at PG. |
This OKC-Houston series is going to be a classic.
|
Houston should sweep them they have way more talent on paper

And what happened to the raptors being better than the Celtics and wizards while we're talking about failed predictions? Posted via Mobile Device |

It's not the same to join a super team and win it when you could be the driver and win a championship that way. How can you join a 73-9 that just beat your team the way they beat the Thunder? Draymond Green kicks your teammate in the nuts and you go join that team. You call Westbrook (who clearly doesn't like Curry) your brother then go join a team with Curry. Talk all this crap about how you love OKC and then leave. Durant is as fake as they come. He is a selfish prick who can't be trusted. The NBA is going to continue to suck if players like Durant keep doing this. There is only going to be a few teams worth watching and small market teams will never have a chance to compete because as soon as their star players contract is up they'll go to the best team in the league. Durant and LeBron both set a bad trend that hopefully will not continue although at least LeBron went back. Reggie Miller talked about this and explained it way better than I ever could. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...-cheap-jewelry Quote:
Durant leaving really hurt that team but at least they made the playoffs and were able to sign Westbrook to an extension. |
Quote:
Once again, when would it have been okay to leave okc? Since 9 years isn't enough, should he have waited until he was with them 15 years? 20 years? Posted via Mobile Device |
Quote:
It is fine to leave OKC but to do it and join a 73-9 team, a team that just beat your team in a hard fought series, is taking the easy way as far as winning a championship and disrespectful to your former teammates. It's also bad for the league because it makes watching only a couple teams worthwhile and I think you saw that with the ratings dip the NBA experienced this season. That's all I am saying. I'm done talking about it lets get back to talking about the NBA playoffs. It has been pretty good so far. |

A FA should be loyal if an organization has been good to him and want to beat the best not join them. That's just the competitive and loyal nature of my beliefs but not everyone has that and I understand. I can understand your viewpoint but I hope you can understand mine as well. With that said f**k Kevin Durant and the Warriors. |

Same thing is happening in Boston with their spare parts in Amir Johnson and Kelly Olynyk. Boston is basically Thomas, Bradley, Horford and Crowder for defense and the rest of their rotation is going to get exploited. Robin Lopez eatting them alive. |
Quote:
And why the hell should a FA be loyal to his organization? It's the same organization that traded James Harden because they didn't want to pay him. How much longer is he supposed to stick to an organization like that? Posted via Mobile Device |

And everyone makes a big deal about Lebron going to 6 consecutive (or whatever it is) NBA Finals. Just shows how easy the East has been all these years. |
Hard to believe Cleveland is winning games in the playoffs after struggling in the regular season. Have never seen anything like this before.

And the same trend of them being outplayed in the 4th quarter has been present in both games so far. That's not a good trend to have as they get deeper on the playoffs and play better and better teams. But hey, they've beat the 8th seed team in game 1 and 2 and have given up an average of 109 points. Everything's perfect. Posted via Mobile Device |

There is nothing to be impressed with so far. They are up 2-0 on a crappy basically one-man Pacers team. Big deal. |
