Dont lose your fingers
So right now the wind chill is forecast to be -15°. At a -19° wind chill frost bite can occur on exposed flesh in about 30 minutes. Lets say the forecasts are wrong and its actually colder than what they are saying, which is entirely possible if snow is on the ground, and we get a wind chill of -19 or below. In this scenario how many drunk idiots are going to lose their fingers because they lose a glove? I just hope it isn't any of you guys!

My dick will be alright, rite?

Just play the game Monday on MLK day. It's going to be 34 degrees, most people have the day off anyway. |
There's gonna be a run on hand warmers in KC this weekend. I'd be guying a couple dozen of those things.

Direkshun’s mom might let you soak it in cider

I can see the logic in moving the game, but I just don't see any chance it happens. The NFL has numerous examples of games that were colder than this.

Its time for a dome! We will be having a shit ton of home games in late December and January. Plus we will get a Super Bowl and we'd have a really good shot at being the first team to play at home in the SB.

Wind chill is for pussies. Real Arctic doesn’t need how a temperature “feels”. They go by the real temperature. 0ish is chilly but doable:
Dress in layers Base layer should be polypropylene Couple pairs of socks, preferably smart wool. Wool is best for socks If you use cotton (not recommended), dont use it next to your skin Stay dry. Likely not a biggie but if someone spills beer or coke down your shirt, get inside and dry off ASAP. I wish I was going to be there. |

These things work like a champ for keeping your hands warm. I used them all the time when I was sitting in a pre-dawn goose blind when It was -20 or colder. They also make them for inside your boots. I know Walmart sells them, as well as a lot of sporting goods stores. As far as feet, you can't go wrong with artic Mucks, they work great even in the coldest weather. https://www.amazon.com/Muck-Boots-Ar...ks+artic&psc=1 Stay warm, yell loud! |

Take this man's advice. I have a pair of Baffin boots that are rated to -70 on Bwana's suggestion. I can wear them for hours in single digits WITHOUT SOCKS. This dude knows his shit. |

Unfortunately, it looks like I need to replace the Grandoe gloves you recommended. Can't find them. Ugh. |
On a side note, something like these work great as an under layer.

Well that blows, that's a great product as well. That's the thing about cold weather, if guy is properly dressed, it's no big deal, if not, it can make for a very long day. |

As far as hats, I have a couple of Stormy Kromer's that kick ass. They have the fold down ear flaps and are good to well below zero. I wear them all the time when I'm out plowing snow with my ATV. https://www.stormykromer.com/the-sta...-cap-charcoal/

I went to Rally House quite a few times, and they never had anything heavier than a hoodie.
|
There's a store in the Oak Park Mall called Sportibles. They had a old letterman style jacket.

Never ceases to amaze me how many dudes wear just a baseball cap. I saw guys doing this last Saturday. Had a coat and gloves on, sure. But head just had a cap. Normal shoes, no ski pants or anything.
