Worse case scenario we finish 4-12 and end up with about the 4 or 5 slot. Probably around 7 or 8 tho
|
There are not 4 teams worse than we are let alone 7.

they don't base it on who is worse, it's strictly numbers. if we grab a few meaningless, cheap wins at the end of the year we could drop like a stone in the draft. Jags,Cleveland are not going to win much gotta root for all the 1 and 2 win teams to snag as many victories as possible. |
Wow. Only 5 times don't have 3 wins at this point. New Orleans will win more for sure. We won't win anymore then 3. We are pretty much guaranteed a top 3 pick. Jacksonville and Cleveland worry me a bit though.

I keep expecting New Orleans to win and they keep looking like shit. Their schedule isn't getting any easier either. |
Just gotta' keep sucking!

we play cleveland and carolina but we don't play jacksonville. already played new orleans and actually got our only win. Week 09 @ San Diego Chargers Week 10@ Pittsburgh Steelers Week 11Cincinnati Bengals Week 12Denver Broncos Week 13Carolina Panthers Week 14@ Cleveland Browns Week 15@ Oakland Raiders Week 16Indianapolis Colts Week 17@ Denver Broncos |

Keep turning that ball over, mang.
|
After we lose to Carolina, they will pose no threat to us. We got them easily beat in terms of opponents win percentage.
Jacksonville's the big one, but after the way I saw this play against Green Bay, they are still grittily fighting it out to the end. They haven't given up like we have. Check out their schedule: DET @ JAC IND @ JAC JAC @ HOU TEN @ JAC JAC @ BUF NYJ @ JAC JAC @ MIA NE @ JAC JAC @ TEN There aren't exactly any pushovers, but for a team that runs the ball and plays defense, they'll get one or two division wins out of that. I'd say one against the Titans and one against the Colts. Also, don't sleep on a possible upset victory against the Jets or Bills. The Chiefs aren't in the clear yet, but we're definitely in the driver's seat |

tenn@jac @miami hopefully they will grab a win or 2 |

Eesh. I just realized how CRUCIAL that extra win against San Diego was for Cleveland. Look at their remaining schedule:
BAL @ CLE CLE @ DAL PIT @ CLE CLE @ OAK KC @ CLE WAS @ CLE CLE @ DEN CLE @ PIT Thankfully their win percentage kicks our asses and we have a game of breathing room. So pretty much as long as we lose to them, we have 3 games between us. We're safe. If we beat them, however, then we're down to only one game of space (since we own the tiebreaker). Cleveland probably isn't going to cut us any more favors by beating teams they shouldn't, which means we need to run the table on the rest of our losses. I would really love an unprecedented Cleveland victory this Sunday. Just to ease any nervousness or fear that I might have. |

Even if they don't draft a QB they can just trade down with somebody that does want a QB. |

Last 5 weeks scare me, it pretty weak, especially if Denver rest their starters in Week 17
|
Quote:
Newton should scramble/run for 100 yrds we can't handle TE/RB in coverage or a running QB worth a shit. |

I know beggars can't be choosers, but ****. If we're going to do this losing thing, let's do it the right way and get the best QB in the draft. And let's conserve our picks, too. Go all out. Get the #1 pick by losing the most games. Then draft the **** out of this shit with our fancy new GM. And ****ing WIN! |

Gonna be tough to keep the one overall pick..

The Jets and Bills might do something, but I don't see a scenario when KC doesn't have a look at at least two legitimate QB prospects. Maybe not Geno Smith, but Barkley and Wilson will for sure be options. |
Quote:
We can pretty much call this thing ****ing over right now if Cleveland and Jacksonville both win just one more game. Even if they don't cooperate, our team is terrible enough that 1-15 isn't all that unlikely relatively speaking. |

I'm not going through the 1983 bullshit again and end up with Blackledge ver. 2. Geno or bust! |
I'm using my NFL Ticket to watch the Chiefs; but, also to watch and cheer on Carolina, JAX and Cleveland. I watched Cleveland beat SD last week and it was fun.

Sorry, we're all out of chocolate cake. Do you want apple strudel instead? Sorry, we're all out of Matt Ryan. Would you like some Glenn Dorsey? Sorry, we're all out of Matt Stafford. How about a nice 5-tech? Oops, looks like RGIII isn't going to fall to us. That's okay. There's always Dontari Poe. ****. That. No more. I'm sick of this shit. Geno Smith is the most talented QB in the draft. He's got this highest ceiling, and likely has the best shot at turning this ****ing shit show around and pointing them in the direction of a goddamn Super Bowl. |

I would be absolutely stunned if the Colts and/or Miami lose to Jacksonville. Both are ascending teams with ascending quarterbacks.
Jacksonville, like the Chiefs, will be lucky to win another game at this point. |
Quote:
I'm also thinking the Jaguars can beat any other team with a less-than-stout run D. The Jets game will be interesting. I'm thinking that could very well be a Jacksonville victory especially if the Jets have finally given up. |
Quote:
we would have to the faiders jump up to lose the tiebreaker. |
And there is another Tebow to Jacksonville trade thing that's just getting floated around.
Trade deadline got pushed back to Thursday, so I'll be holding my breath that Khan truly decided that he wants some seats filled in his stadium and they make the trade for Tebow the next two days. If the Jaguars trade for Tebow, then I would put them out of the running for a QB in the draft. And, like I said on the Draft Planet, the Jaguars have the worst pass rush in the entire league. They are horrible. Trade for Tebow and then take either Jarvis Jones or Barkevious Mingo. Its a win-win-win for both the Chiefs and the Jags. |

Chiefs have 3 or 4 more winnable games. I think they win a couple.
|
We have gone 7 games and have yet to have a lead. That is nearly impossible to do, and yet here we are.
Without dramatic changes this team won't even sniff another win. |
Quote:
I'm sure people in Detroit thought the same thing in 2008 but it just isn't going to happen. 1-15. |

But regardless of all of that: How any you, or anyone for that matter, believe that this Chiefs team will beat anyone left on their schedule? We're talking a historically awful football team that isn't getting any better and most likely, will decline even further after each game. |

They've been in most of their games this year. Getting abused by Houston, Cincy, and Chicago. |
At the rate the Chiefs are going now, they will end up with the number 1 pick in the draft. That is in thanks to having the worst coaching staff in the league.
I can't see them winning another game. I think they're 1-15 bad. The team has mailed it in and won't compete with anybody. Their level of competition is so inept, I can't see anybody who is worse. I have been watching games around the league and nobody is as bad as the Chiefs. I mean nobody. |
Well we,re getting there
|
Don't **** it up.

I was listening to the podcast of Jeff Chadiha on 610 or 810, one of them damn channels and he predicts us to go 2-14 our next win will be against Denver, because they would have pulled all their starters in the 16th game, because it would be a meaningless game for Denver
|
I wouldn't count out the Chargers, just yet.

I would love to have Geno, but Barkley may turn out to be the better pro, and it would not surprise me if he did. |
