It makes sense to criticize not pulling the trigger on O'hearn and Santana, but it is silly to cry about Mondesi. There was no opportunity cost to giving Mondesi a shot. All the other options at the position were on the MLB roster on opening day.

Royals did not miss out on anything by giving Mondesi the shot that he earned. Stupidest thing you will ever hear on KC sports radio is mean-spirited haters crying about Mondesi having a torn ACL.

they gave mondi one more shot... at least he had potential, unlike Santana and Ohearn et al. It looks like Witt is at short to stay.

Daytons Salvy deal looking like another bad contract he handed out as a “lifetime achievement” award. Tampa doesn’t do this crap, it’s what teams like the Rockies and Reds do.

4/82 started this season. It’s obv early and he may yet snap out of it but if he doesn’t it’s on Dayton, not Sal

It ****ing sucks that Dozier is worthless at 3B. It would set things so much better if he could play third.
