Got to work tonight but tomorrow It's some 12 yr Glenfiddich

kstater 08-18-2013 06:07 PM

Picked up the new sampler. Cracked open the Mid-Coast IPA. Surprised by lack of aroma. But the taste is great.

Johnny Vegas 08-19-2013 06:27 PM

Gonna be trying the Pliny the Elder here very soon for the first time. Been a long time waiting for this moment. Also the Elysian IPA is so good. One of my favorite IPAs. Finally in the growler is Blackfoot's single malt IPA. Another tasty snack.

Blue-cheese-stuffed olive... WOW! Never heard of that, I'll bet it's great! I picked a bad time to quit drinking.

Anyone use the ice cube trays that make the 2" cubes? I just picked up a couple yesterday and cannot see me enjoying a tasty adult beverage any other way when at home. Mount Gay Extra Old rum in the glass.

I don't know why the iPad camera insists on rotating pictures when I attach them to posts. It is annoying though.

It happens to all the I-machine posted photos on another forum I frequent. They say if you edit the pic to crop a little off the edges it corrects the issue.

Next to Merlot, it's near the top of the list. Kraken is always #1 but I like it too much! (WAAAAAY too much!!!) I've asked for a bottle of Kraken to be with me when they cremate me! But Lime Bite and Dirt Dr. Pepper is just awesome...

I have a young man who works for me who loves this. Suffice it to say when we drink together, I am served many shots..

Wish I was more inclined to like such drink but I'm not much of a fan (at least I'd never buy a bottle for myself)... But I drink it because he is an awesome man and person and my likes matter little when I'm around great people...

Peace Tea and Jack but for tomorrow I have a case of KC Pils made by Boulevard. It was a winning beer last week so we bought a bunch! Well I told the wife to get two and I meant 6 packs but she ended up with two 12s. A positive mistake on her part.

Finished up a bottle of Glenfiddych 15 tonight. Trying to decide if I want the Yamazaki 12 or the Dunston 15 next.

I tried a Southern Tier Pumpkin Stout last week... kind of odd, but pretty good.

Bourbon Barrel Quad tonight.

Stay away from Blue Moon's pumpkin ale. It's terrible.

And I haven't even seen a pumpkin stout. That is intriguing.

You scotch drinkers are making me jealous. Its been a while.

I'm drinking a home brew I call Oops IPA. Screwed up the mash and ended up a little diluted but its still 5.5% and fairly tasty.

I just kegged a Belgian Ale that's 9.7% but its bout 30 days out from hitting the tap.

I had a Blue Moon once... some kind of seasonal IPA that a bartender at BWW let me sample, but don't remember the name. It just died in my mouth. Nothing. It's never crossed my mind to try any of their other beers since.

It's the first pumpkin stout I've seen, too. Hard to explain... there was some pumpkin to it, but it's pretty unique (in a tasty way).

I'm a big fan of Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale, and I tried Rogue's Pumpkin Patch for the first time this year, and it might be better.

I'm working on it. I haven't made anything I couldn't drink yet and most has been damn good.

I have made about 15- 5gal brews just this year.

Upgrade my equipment and starting on 10 -12gal brews soon.

Amazing Arizona drink. As said, Arnold Palmer but with vodka. I just by the Arizona Tea Co. version for about $3 a gallon and add some cheap vodka. The lite version is very good and doesn't have very much sugar.

According to seekabrew.com, Southern Tier only distributes on the Missouri side, so I must have picked it up at Bubbles in the Northland.

Rogue is... interesting. I like their double chocolate stout... the bacon maple beer was like drinking bud light with bacon grease, but was okay enough as a one time novelty... the peanut butter banana chocolate ale is easily the weirdest beer I've ever tried (and would drink again).... pumpkin patch is definitely worth a try, IMO.
