No, the first drink of every bottle tasted like a "Budweiser" to me. It didn't matter if I was having it with a steak, lunch, or watching the sun crash... the first drink or two from each bottle tasted differently than the last half to me. I do not notice this change with my regular beers.

I'm taking some to a gathering this weekend for some friends to try and am going to put some in mugs and see if I notice it. I ruined a couple Coors guys with a blind tasting of Beast last time I went LMAO and want to slip some in on an anti-Budweiser guy this time.

It was the 2nd blind test of the night done in solo cups from cold cans. No one was drunk yet. I've failed this test a couple times and my dad was a Coors drinker, so it was my first beer of choice as a teen. If you pay attention to it the smell gives it away, but the tasting screws with your head. It's why I try to give it to the "Coors snobs" so everyone gets a good laugh out of it when the biggest "all other beers suck" guy gets it wrong. LMAO

The bourbon guys turned me on to blind taste tests with the "Markers Mark is god" crowd. The power of hype and commercial branding is a mind ****.

this brew supply store in town just bought a license to sell beer from around the world and around the nation. Its a huge selection and this is my first purchase. I didn't even know where to begin so I just said I'll get an assortment of IPA's this round and then go for pale ales next or something else. Felt like a kid in a candy store.

I love a good moscow mule. I got 3 copper cups in my possession if anyone is down for one at my house. I got some alcoholic ginger beer that is supposedly a great substitute from the non alcoholic stuff.

Homebrew I call Hoppy Acres. Its a Wheat Beer similar to 80 Acre but a bit stronger around 6.5% and more hoppy.

I would call it a Wheat Pale Ale Almost a Wheaty IPA.

Dry hopped with Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops.
