Eh, Mahomes ran for his life a lot tonight. Devey also missed a pull block that I think Morse makes in his sleep. I think they'll miss Morse's line calls, but I also liked how the backups stepped up.

I'd like to see McKenzie sometime as well.

You know better with this defense, the guy that gave up the long pass to Gronk was just signed. You really can't expect much from the scrubs we have on defense. It's a known value and it's worthless so anyone expecting more from it is simply delusional.

God damn this site has so many reeruned sister ****ers. This is in no way on Mahomes, not one tiny little bit. "Oh but he threw an interception and kept us from getting a field goal herp ****in derp", so what? They would have just scored a TD if they were down at the end of the game. He brought us back in the 4th qtr. That washes away all his mistakes. I literally can't believe some of the absolute idiots on this site. Some of you should throw yourselves off your houses in the name of Alex Smith.

I like that the young guys are playing and improving. Nnadi looked good. Speaks is improving. CB Smith, obviously, has wheels.

Get Watts and QuePasa back, and youth will be served. Honestly, I'm not sure it would matter if they actually WERE worse...

It’s a team game. You can’t just blame one player.

Yes Mahomes made mistakes but The defense couldn’t make the stops when it truly mattered.

Team loss.

Exactly this. Every time.

Yes and Reid.

My answer is honestly the same when people blamed Alex for the Colts playoff loss. You just can't blame the offense when they score 40 points. They could have done things better sure, but you just are rolling the dice when you give up 43 points. You cannot expect the offense to be absolutely perfect and score 50-60 points. That is asking a lot of Mahomes, Brady, Manning, any of them.

The Colts, Steelers, and Titans playoff losses are 100% Andy Reid's fault. I hate Bob Sutton, a lot, but all 3 of those playoff losses are Reid's fault because he refused to run the ball and to run clock. There have been four teams in NFL history to lose a playoff game after having an 18 point or higher lead in the second half, and Reid has 2 of those 4 since taking over in Kansas City.

But today's loss is all on the defense. Sure, Mahomes should have hit at least one of those throws in the first half, but it was his 7th career start, and when it mattered most he put this team ahead in the 4th quarter, after being down 24-9 at half time, against the defending AFC Champions, in their house, against one the five greatest QBs in NFL history.

Gurley will probably have 150 rushing yards, with at least 2 rushing TDs, and another 75 yards receiving with at least 1 receiving TD. McVay won't let up like the OCs in Denver or Jacksonville.

Showtime is alive and well, bro. The defense can all take a 1 way trip to Jonestown, though.

Our D wasn't exactly stellar either, Angelina Brolie. Especially in the 2nd half. You got beat by a better team, period. And absolutely thrashed in the 1st half. How come you held us to only 27 points last year and 43 this year? Also, Alex Smith put up more points against us last year. I think you should have kept him.

Good for you. You seem to be slightly reeruned so that would explain it.
