Right...and until such a study, it's just as silly to say it is not a cure.

Do you think the world would spend billions of dollars on alcohol, everyday, if it didn't get you high?

How about aspirin?

Yeah, you don't know what you're talking about.

3,000 mg of acetiminophen is the max daily allowance. I believe it was 4,000 before they lowered it in 2011. It can wreck your liver.

No. Then again, I don't see anyone claiming that alcohol might cure cancer.

Until Merck verifies this, I'll refuse to believe it! /Head Trauma

Because there is no scientific basis for the research. I mean shit, I could go eat grass and call it a cure for disease X, state it has vast immunologic benefits, etc. etc., but that doesn't mean it will receive funding from the NIH for research and a clinical trial.

If cannabis activated the hypothetical "receptor THC" which has been implicated in specific immunologic functions, I am almost certain someone would write a research proposal and garner a grant from the NIH to put it to the test.

There's no scientific basis for the study. We might as well test grass, dirt, and water for their potential curative purposes.

Donger 04-02-2013 11:18 AM

Wait, are the pot heads actually complaining about aspirin? If so, why?

We're talking about this right now. Please pay attention!

My mrs has a severe case of rheumatoid arthritis and studies have shown that diet pop can increase joint pain and the like and she drinks at least a 6 pack a day of the shit. So,she won't listen to me or read the studies and I go to her RA doc and ask if he'll share it with her to which I get well everyone needs an outlet and if hers is diet coke :spock:

All the while he's more than happy to see her every other week for an office call and continue to try new drugs to help ease her pain.

It's 4000.

How many tylenol tablets is that?

And I know its effects on your liver, but my point is nobody will even get close to that level on a daily basis. The reality is it takes A LOT of Acetominophen to "wreck your liver".
