He drafts nothing but backups. What are you worried about? :D

Nightfyre just missed his pick in the alt-mock......I believe.

Hope I can get back in on this next year. I probably could've done this had I known it'd go by so fast.

Stop being an idiot.

You would have shit your pants by the second round.

Begging us all to "help you out," because you don't "watch college ball" or "know football"... "at all."

I can't hold everybody's hands through this damn mock every year. And personally I'm getting sick and tired of having to tell you all how wrong you are all the time.

Mr. Flopnuts, you will do what you're told, put in a couple years in the Alt Mock without crying that chiefscafan keeps taking all the good prospects, and then maybe we'll consider putting in a request possibly examining your verisimitude or whatever the word is called where we ask each other if you're secretly reeruned and trying to infiltrate our sacred Mock with your sneaky reerun agenda, like a virus that will spread its reerunation over everybody until we're all redrafting Tebow like it's our key to freedom.

And you'll like it.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 03-29-2011 12:35 AM

I'm averaging about an hour per pick in the alt draft. I don't feel like I was well prepared for a mock draft, but the slowness of that draft has allowed me to up my research. I'd like a shot at a redraft

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 03-29-2011 12:37 AM

Nevermind. Looks like people are out. Don't want to do another slow one.

BossChief 04-30-2011 06:05 PM

I wanted to see how effective my drafting is when stacked up to where the players I took in the mock went in the real draft and I think I did pretty damn good.

I took the # where I took the player and stacked it up against the # the player went at in the real draft to see if the pick was a good value or not.

I totally OWN.

(27) Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa (20) ..........+7
(59) Titus Young, WR, Boise State (44)..............+15
(90) Shane Vereen, RB, Cal (56)........................+34
(123) Julius Thomas, TE, Portland State (129)..........-6
(155) Buster Skrine, CB, Chattanooga (137).............+18
(187) Shiloh Keo, SS/PR, Idaho (144).......................+43
(217)Jeremy Kerley, WR/PR, TCU (153)...................+64
(218) Henry Hynoski, FB, Pittsburgh ...only player I took for Atlanta that wasn't drafted. ..........................................that equates to a -3

Thats an overall +172.....every pick was a great value and the only undrafted player was a late 7th rounder!

OWNAGE!

Now for the Browns...

(6) Julio Jones, WR, Alabama (6)...................nailed it
(37) Christian Ballard, DL, Iowa (106)................-69
(68) Sione Fua, DT, Stanford (97).......................-29
(101) Derrick Locke, RB, Kentucky ...not drafted......ouch... -120
(133) Nathan Enderle, QB, Idaho (160)......................-27
(163) Jalil Brown, CB, Colorado (118)......................+45
(165) Roy Helu, RB, Nebraska (105)......................+60

That Locke pick really hurt (****ed up part is that was the pick I let my buddy make for me because he is a Brown fan)

The overall score for my Browns draft is a -140

Combined score of two teams is +32

I made 15 picks and 13 of them were drafted...that's gotta be the top dog.

87% rate of drafted players

Another fun year.

Thanks again for letting me participate!

How do your drafts grade out?

1) remember, we didnt have as many picks as the real draft due to no comp picks
2) if you picked a player that went undrafted, you get dinged for each slot missed by and the total picks in the mock was 221.

Did I win?

Well done!

What ****ed me was letting my buddy make the Derrick Locke pick (that went undrafted after I took him in the 4th) because he is a Browns fan... and Ballard failing a pee pee test at the combine and dropping like a rock.

Those two picks alone cost me 189 points.

I bet my Falcons draft is one of the best single team point totals. If not the best.

RealSNR 05-01-2011 03:31 PM

Packers draft- Round and draft position to the left of the name. To the right is the actual draft position and after that is the difference

3. (96) Chimdi Chekwa, CB, Ohio State 113 -17

RealSNR 05-01-2011 03:45 PM

For the Vikings:

1.(12) Jake Locker, QB, Washington 8 +4
2. (43) Jabaal Sheard, DE, Pittsburgh 37 +6
4. (105) Lance Kendricks, TE, Wisconsin 47 +58

-33

I'll still take it. Leaves me with a grand total of

+232

Back off, BossChief. I won the draft. 15 players, 13 of them drafted.

RealSNR 05-01-2011 04:07 PM

What are the rules again? The guy who wins the draft this year gets to pick for the Chiefs next year?
