Those 4 guys are pretty good cornerstones to build around, and I think Ragland has showed potential to be a 5th guy there. THey need to build around them better.
I'd prefer to give them a competent DC, they deserve that much. Nothing rankles me more than giving up 6/10 on 3rd down, while rushing 3 and dropping 8.

They were a defense that couldn't get off the field. They suck on third and long, and our offense just sits while opponents have 12 play drives. Not good enough.

I find it impossible to think that major changes are not coming. Alex, vets being released, coaching changes. I don't see how Sutton survives this.

It’s really the right time for an overhaul. This crew had their chance many times. Reached their ceiling and couldn’t get it done. Time to move on. I’ll have allot more respect for Reid If hes willing to make the tough cuts and changes.

That's what I thought as well. Sutton IMHO attempted to make chicken salad out of chicken sh** each and every week working with very limited talent. Doesn't mean I want Bob to stay because I just don't like his schemes PERIOD and he doesn't adjust enough to the game situations for me.
